The Terra Electronics MS554 multiswitch connects four SAT satellite signal polarities and terrestrial TV. It supports daisy-chaining for floor-to-floor installations, as well as star-topology networks. The passive TV pass-through channel allows reception of terrestrial channels without the receiver being switched on.

Up to 5 multiswitches can be daisy-chained without an amplifier, depending on the distance. The LNBs are powered by an external 18 V DC power supply, while DC power consumption on the line is zero.
