The Legrand 048817 infrared motion sensor is ceiling-mounted and designed for long corridors. It detects motion at a 360° angle and covers an area of 2 × 12 m, with a recommended installation height of 2.5 m. It automatically controls the lights switching on and off, and can be used with a push button for manual switching on and automatic or manual switching off.

Brightness can be adjusted from 5 to 1,275 lux, and the operating time from 5 sec to 59 min. It can be mounted directly in a suspended ceiling using claws or in a 50 mm Batibox box. The optimal distance between two sensors is 20 m.
