Key features:
Users generally consider it a sturdy, stable stand with good build quality and a non-slip surface. It’s convenient for video calls and watching videos, and lets you use your phone in either portrait or landscape orientation while charging it on the stand. However, some users say the hinge mechanism loosens over time, causing the phone to tilt; others find the stand lightweight and plasticky.
Great base. I have bought it for all my colleagues because they loved it.
I have it for years. Very good construction and very helpful.
I bought both the hoko and the usams, which have the same base and top part. Choose the usams for an extra 2-3 euros!
UPDATE 11/25/2024: Ultimately, the stand did not prove to be good. With use and the weight of the phone (POCO X3 Pro), the vertical axis of the stand loosens and the phone leans forward and falls. This happened continuously lately and I finally threw it away to prevent damage to the phone. I understand that the stand folds for portability reasons, but this comes at the expense of the phone's stability. I would have preferred the vertical axis to be fixed without the ability to tilt, even if it meant losing the portability that I don't actually need. Ultimately, all reviews should be made over time, and in this case, the product did not succeed.
I thought that for the money they were asking, I would get a cheap plastic piece of junk. I was wrong. The construction is heavy and of high quality. The phone sits very well on it at any height with the help of the rubber back. The quite large gap of the support base facilitates the connection of headphones (I have a phone where the headphones connect at the bottom) and the charging cable of the phone. It is also a very useful stand for video conferences via mobile. It is worth its price.
The base is made of solid, high-quality plastic. It stays stable on the desk and mobile phones like the one in the photos (Galaxy S20+) can stand without any problem. Half of the phone rests on the back of the base.
The back has a column that lifts to a certain height. Bases like this help you have a charging cable underneath so it can function smoothly.
A very good base for the money you will spend.
Made of high-quality plastic, sturdy in movement around its axes and stable on the desk with a non-slip back. A Huawei P40 pro with a relatively thick case sits very well on it. You can comfortably have it in a vertical or horizontal position (for video calls or watching movies, etc.) and leave it with the charging cable on top of it.
Highly recommended.
