Which keyboard did I leave?
I come from the Motospeed Inflictor CK104, bought for about 35-40 euros, which had gone through a lot, with a lot of typing - 113 product reviews proved it! It broke and I needed a new one for work within 1-2 days, and even better. I had heard that Razer keyboards last for years from colleagues and friends, so I decided to make the first move. This particular company has inspired confidence in me for the past 2 years because of the headphones and mouse that I have and have exceeded my expectations, to tell the truth.
Let's start with the basics: this keyboard is the cheapest mechanical Razer keyboard available on Skroutz at the moment. If you sort them by "Ascending price," you will see it for yourself.
Linear switches? What is this? *-*
Mechanical switches with a 100% mechanical feel, but only 10% of the sound produced by a keyboard with clicky switches. It provides the feedback you want as confirmation, but it doesn't annoy someone sleeping in the next room. Maybe the sound reminds some people of a membrane keyboard, except for the sound of the spacebar. At 20-25% of the switch's travel, the command has already been executed on the computer. For example, I accidentally lightly touch the Esc key on the top left and it doesn't let me do something I wanted to do, and I think, "Oh no, my PC is acting up..." but I was just lightly touching it without realizing it, and it was executing the command normally. Unbelievable and, in my opinion, a positive aspect.
What does 60% mean in simple words, my friend?
60%: Almost half the size of a regular keyboard. Compared to my phone, it is twice as big, as you can see in the photo. It felt very strange from the moment I opened it and connected it to the computer until the 4th or 5th day when I somewhat got used to it. I couldn't find the arrow keys as I use them when coding, and I would miss a ";" or forget something on the next line. I won't hide that it frustrated me on the first day, but I decided to give it a second chance and get to know it a little better.
What about the Type-C cable and braided, what do you have to say about that?
Thick, braided Type-C-USB cable. Twice as thick as my previous keyboard's cable and also twice as thick as the mouse cable. Sturdy, not afraid of breaking with the slightest force. The only thing for sure is that Razer doesn't compromise on the materials it uses.
And what about the RGB, does it say anything?
RGB: It works perfectly in complete darkness or with minimal lighting from the desk lamp + monitor. However, even on a cloudy day with a little light, it becomes quite difficult, unfortunately. This is where, for me, it loses half a star out of the 5 in the evaluation. I didn't expect that even the Razer Mamba Elite mouse would be brighter than the Huntsman. In this price range, I expected better performance in this aspect.
So, do you recommend it because you confused us...
Yes, I recommend it, BUT where I want to conclude is that for 90 euros, with careful use, meaning no spills of coffee, water, food, etc., it will last for 6-7 years, which is a good investment. We will be here to evaluate it as well. That's why I will come back to review it after 1, 3, and 5 years of use.
Update after 2 years of use (January 15, 2024): The lack of a numpad and especially the arrow keys made me give it away after 1.5 years and go back to the good old BlackWidow V3. If you write in Word or code, it will tire you immensely. Even to enter the BIOS, you have to press Fn + F2, and every time I forgot and had to restart again. Very frustrating, unfortunately, and I didn't expect it from the beginning. Good keyboard, but not for everyone in the end!
Απο ποιο πληκτρολόγιο έφυγα ?
Προέρχομαι απο Motospeed Inflictor CK104 αγορασμένο περίπου στα 35-40 ευρώ, τότε, το οποίο είχε περάσει αρκετά, με πολύ γράψιμο - 113 αξιολογήσεις προϊόντων έβγαλε το άτιμο! Χάλασε και λόγο δουλειάς χρειαζόμουν σε διάστημα 1-2 ημερών καινούργιο και μάλιστα καλύτερο. Είχα ακούσει ότι τα Razer πληκτρολόγια κρατάνε χρόνια απο συναδέλφους και φίλους και είπα να κάνω την πρώτη κίνηση. Η συγκεκριμένη εταιρία μου εμπνέει εμπιστοσύνη τα τελευταία 2 χρόνια λόγω των ακουστικών και του ποντικιού που έχω και με έχουν υπερκαλύψει να πω την αλήθεια.
Ας ξεκινήσουμε απο τα βασικά: το πληκτρολόγιο είναι το φθηνότερο μηχανικό πληκτρολόγιο Razer που υπάρχει στο Skroutz αυτή τη στιγμή διαθέσιμο. Αν τα βάλετε σε "Αύξουσα τιμή" θα το διαπιστώσετε και μόνοι σας.
Διακόπτες Linear ? Τι είν τούτο ? *-*
Μηχανικοί διακόπτες με feeling 100% μηχανικού ωστόσο 10% του ήχου που παράγει ένα με clicky διακόπτες πληκτρολόγιο. Δίνει την επαναφορά που θές ως επιβεβαίωση αλλά δεν σπάς τα νεύρα κάποιου που κοιμάτε στο διπλανό δωμάτιο. Ίσως ο ήχος να θυμίζει και πληκτρολόγιο μεμβράνης σε κάποιους αν εξαιρέσουμε τον ήχο του spacebar. Στο 20-25% του travel του διακόπτη η εντολή έχει ήδη εκτελεστεί στον υπολογιστή. π.χ. ακουμπάω καταλάθος ελαφρώς το Esc πάνω αριστερά και δεν με άφηνε να κάνω κάτι που ήθελα και ε΄χια σκαλώσει λέω πάει τα έπαιξε το PC...απλά το "χάϊδευα" χωρίς να το καταλάβω και εκτελούσε κανονικά αυτό. Απίστευτο και κατά τη γνώμη μου θετικό.
Τι θα πει 60% με απλά λόγια βρε αδφερφέ ?
60%: Σχεδόν το μισό απο ένα συνηθισμένο πληκτρολόγιο. Σε σχέση με το κινητό μου είναι 2 φορές μεγαλύτερο όπως βλέπετε και στη φωτογραφία. Πολύ περίεργο συναίσθημα απο την ώρα που το άνοιξα και το έβαλα στον υπολογιστή μέχρι και την 4ή-5ή ημέρα που κάπως το συνήθισα. Δεν μπορούσα να βρω τα βελάκια καθώς τα χρησιμοποιώ όταν γράφω κώδικα και χάνω κάποιο ";" ή ξεχνάω κάτι σε παραπάνω γραμμή. Δεν θα σας κρύψω ότι μου έσπασε τα νεύρα τη πρώτη μέρα αλλά είπα να του δώσω μια δεύτερη ευκαιρία και να γνωριστούμε λίγο καλύτερα.
Καλώδιο TypeC και braided, τι έχεις να μας πεις γι' αυτό ?
Χοντρό, υφασμάτινων ινών καλώδιο typeC-USB. Διπλάσιο σε πάχος απο του προηγούμενου πληκτρολογίου μου και επίσης διπλάσιο του ποντικιού. Δύσκαμπτο, δεν φοβάσε ότι θα κοπεί με το παραμικρό ζόρι. Το μόνο σίγουρο είναι ότι η Razer δεν τσιγουνεύεται απο τα υλικά που χρησιμοποιεί.
Και το RGB λέει τίποτα ?
RGB: με απόλυτο σκοτάδι ή με ελάχιστο φωτισμό απο φως γραφείου + οθόνη μια χαρά τα πάει. Αν είναι ημέρα ωστόσο ακόμη και συνεφιασμένη και να μπαίνει λίγο φως το δυσκολεύει αρκετά δυστηχώς. Εδώ είναι για εμένα που χάνει μισό αστέρι απο τα 5 της αξιολόγησης. Δεν περίμενα ότι μέχρι και το ποντίκι Razer Mamba Elite θα είναι πιο φωτεινό απο το Huntsman. Σε αυτό το price range περίμενα καλύτερη δουλειά σε αυτό το κομμάτι.
Αρα το προτείνεις γιατι μας μπέρδεψες..
Ναι το προτείνω ΑΛΛΑ εκεί που θέλω να καταλείξω είναι ότι για 90 ευρώ και με την προοπτική ότι με προσεκτική χρήση, δηλαδή όχι καφέδες νερά φαγητά απο πάνω κτλ θα βγάλει 6-7 χρόνια είναι μια καλή επένδυση. Εδώ θα είμαστε να το αξιολογήσουμε και αυτό. Για αυτό το λόγο θα επανέλθω στα 1, 3 και 5 χρόνια χρήσης του.
Update 2 χρόνια χρήσης (15/1/2024): Η έλλειψη numpad αλλά κυρίως βελάκια με έκανε να το χαρίσω στον 1,5 χρόνο και να γυρίσω πίσω στο παλιό καλό BlackWidow V3. Αν γράφετε Word ή κώδικα θα σας κουράσει αφάνταστα. Μέχρι και για να μπεις στα BIOS πρέπει να πατας Fn + F2 και κάθε φορά το ξέχναγα και έπρεπε να κάνω εκ νέου restart. Πολύ κουραστικό δυστυχώς κα δεν το περίμενα εξ' αρχής. Καλό πληκτρολόγιο αλλά όχι για όλους τελικλα!
