The QNap TS-832PXU-RP is a rack-mounted NAS that supports up to 8 HDD or SSD drives and does not include built-in drives. The quad-core AnnapurnaLabs AL324 processor runs at 1.7 GHz and is paired with 4 GB of DDR4 memory, expandable to 16 GB. The four Ethernet ports support speeds of up to 10,000 Mbit/s.

It supports RAID configurations 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60 and JBOD, as well as Backup Server, Database Server, FTP Server, File Server, Media Server and Surveillance Station functions. Active cooling is provided by two fans, while the LED indicators show HDD activity, LAN activity and device status.
