If you have a laptop that does not have Ethernet or you want to provide an Ethernet connection (at the expense of charging, however) to a tablet/smartphone, with this adapter you will give a pure 1Gbps Ethernet network connection to your device. It is very necessary if you want a stable, low-latency network with consistent speed.
    It is from Realtek.
It is USB 3.0 (which easily supports the 1Gbps Ethernet standard since USB 3.0 is 5Gbps); for the best result, connect it to a USB 3.0 port on your computer, and if you have a Type C port, buy a corresponding USB 3.0 adapter from Type A to Type C.

It was tested on a laptop as well as on a smartphone via a Type C adapter (with WiFi off and in airplane mode) and gave good ping and the speed I get on the internet (50Mbps VDSL)

I have had it for 2 years, I am completely satisfied and in all these years it has only had 2-3 disconnections. It works normally even after the last update of Windows 10. It has been tested on USB 2.0 and it is still fast, but it is better on USB 3.0.
    UPDATE 13/08/2021
Upgraded to a 50 Mbps line in 6 months of use, no disconnections, just perfect for its price!!
    UPDATE 01/02/2024
Upgraded to a 100 Mbps line for a year now, works perfectly without any disconnections!!!

Simply the best in scrubbing! It has USB 3.0, it has the most IEEE protocols, and it is also the cheapest. I highly recommend it without hesitation!

It works perfectly, I have it on a second line of DSL, and I never run out of Internet. It is super fast and has its own drivers for Windows 10. 5 stars
