Description & Specifications

The ABB 70310 miniature circuit breaker protects against overloads using a thermal delayed-trip mechanism and against short circuits using an electromechanical mechanism. It mounts on a DIN rail and is suitable for residential and commercial installations, in accordance with IEC/EN 60898-1.

The screw terminals have a chamber for cables up to 25 mm². The markings and wiring diagram are laser-printed, while the screws remain attached to the breaker body.

Operating Curve

The tripping curve shows the time required for the circuit breaker to switch off in relation to the current passing through it. For small overcurrents, the tripping is delayed to avoid unnecessary interruptions, while for very high values, such as in the case of a short circuit, the breaker operates immediately to protect the circuit.
