This book attempts a comprehensive critical revision of contemporary Orthodox theological personalism, as well as the ultimate idealistic mutations of Orthodox thought: the work of Metropolitan John Zizioulas of Pergamon, Christos Yannaras, Stelios Ramfos, and Elder Sophrony is re-examined within the very sources of its inspiration, but from the perspective of the terrors and torments of the real subject, thereby inaugurating a different theological understanding.
The aim is to re-establish, in a synthetic manner, the perspective of a postmodern theological ontology, which seeks to critically re-examine both postmodernity and theology.
