  • "The Little Nicolas in New Adventures" by Goscinny & Sempé is my favorite children's book! It was first released in Greece in 2005 by Synchronoi Orizontes publications and later reissued and currently published by Patakis publications.

Little Nicolas is an innocent and adorable little boy who lives with his family and friends in an unspecified city in France during the 1950s and 1960s. The stories of Little Nicolas were initially published in French newspapers, then turned into a book, and much later adapted for television, becoming beloved by many viewers.

Through the pages of the book, we become friends with the little protagonist and follow him in his adventures and mischief. He is a wonderful character, and anyone who has met him through the books of Goscinny & Sempé has loved him and surely identified with him, reminiscing about their own childhood years. Each page of the book brings forth more and more childhood memories, making the reader nostalgic and reminiscent of their own mischief.

In my opinion, it is a book that can undoubtedly be read by both young and old, and it deserves to be present in every library and to be read again and again!
