I have two televisions, an LG and this one that I bought in March. The menu and response of the LG (which does not have Android) are much better compared to Toshiba's. I watch a lot of web TV from the channels, which gets lost as an option after an hour of watching TV and changing channels. I have to completely close it and reopen it to show me the option at the bottom right of the web TV channels. I have tried it with Ethernet and wireless. Also, when you are watching web TV and want to skip forward a bit or go to a specific minute, it's a nightmare. When you press the forward button, for example, it doesn't show you which minute you are skipping to, you have to hold the button down and when you release it, the indicator jumps a little further than where it was, depending on how long you press the button. You can't determine where you want it to go, you have to guess. Very user-unfriendly, especially compared to the LG. If you don't watch web TV, you might not have a problem. Also, the picture quality is not as good as the LG. Of course, to be honest, I haven't bothered to adjust the settings for better picture quality.
3/5 with a lot of leniency, for my own use, and compared to another brand of television.

I bought the 43'' TV 2 months ago because of the brand and the reviews I read here. Unfortunately, I was disappointed..
The first problem I encountered was the lack of enough positions to support the base on the wall. The vesa is mentioned in the specifications but there were only 4 holes. Also, there is an additional plastic volume on the back of the TV that makes it hesitant to place the base on the wall. However, we managed to put it on the wall with anxiety, of course, not to find it on the floor.
The second issue I face is the channel sorting. I set the channels in the desired positions and with the first channel change, they are sorted wherever they want. After a new scan, the problem remains.
The third and final issue. The lowest volume is quite loud before it becomes silent.
The picture is mediocre unless you enter the ut, there the picture is truly amazing.
I was disappointed and for this reason I generously give it 2 stars!

Definitely VFM. Great picture, great sound, and so far it hasn't frozen anywhere. I also have another Samsung that costs twice as much and it freezes incredibly, especially on YouTube and Netflix. Everything happens instantly on this one. Get it with your eyes closed.

A major disadvantage is that Netflix constantly freezes and requires a restart. Also, in order for the PVR to be recognized, the TV must be turned off. The problem is that many times it doesn't recognize it. This happens about twice a week. Then the TV needs to be RESTARTED. When it doesn't read the hard drive, the scheduled recordings on the hard drive are canceled. It doesn't have a browser and you have to download. The menu is not good. I would like it to be more user-friendly. However, it is very lightweight and has an amazing picture. Also, the sound is incredible. You don't need to add speakers. If I could, I would buy another 4K. I regret buying it. I thought that at this price of €350 it would be worth more of its money.

To say in previous comments regarding the brand TOSHIBA, I have an 8-year-old laptop that refuses to break.

Toshiba sold the television part to a company called VESTEL, a Turkish company that manufactures them, although I think they buy the panels and do the assembly.
However, I don't think the problems come from where they are manufactured, but from the hybrid channels and the Android system. I read in various reviews similar problems with different brands.
I think they all have the same problems.

I recently bought the 43 inches. Perfect picture and very good sound, easy setup and so far no issues like opening and closing and the like that are heard in similar smart TVs. It's worth every penny and more!
