  • N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is a form of the amino acid cysteine that is more easily absorbed. 
  • Selenium helps enhance the antioxidant effects of cysteine.
  • Acetylcysteine was initially patented in 1960 and came into use in 1968. It is on the World Health Organization's list of essential medicines, which lists the safest and most effective products needed in a health system. 
  • It is a precursor molecule of glutathione, one of the most powerful antioxidant molecules in the body. Cysteine is available in foods such as oats, corn, cheese, yogurt, white meats, and eggs, but not in the form of NAC. Once NAC enters the body, it is converted into glutathione.
  • Formula without artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, yeast, and genetically modified ingredients.

Recommended Dosage
