The Makita DTM51ZX1 oscillating multi-tool is powered by an 18 V battery and performs cutting, polishing and sanding tasks. The oscillation speed is electronically adjustable from 6,000 to 20,000 oscillations per minute, while the soft start and constant speed help you position it accurately on the workpiece. The 12 accessory angle settings, in 30° increments from 0° to 360°, expand its range of applications.

It can be used to cut ceramic materials, sand hard-to-reach areas and remove mortar, silicone or putty from window frames. The handle has an elastomer coating, while the battery protection system cuts off power when the charge is low and the anti-restart function prevents accidental start-up. It is compatible with 18 V lithium-ion batteries with overload and overcharge protection.
