The Polar Pro VND Peter McKinnon Edition II filter is a variable ND filter with a range of 6–9 stops for controlling the amount of light entering the lens. Laser-etched stop markings help align the two quartz glass elements precisely. Its controlled range reduces the likelihood of cross-polarization, while the filter causes no vignetting on lenses with focal lengths up to 16 mm.
Made from Pure Fused Quartz, it is designed for shooting in bright conditions with a wide aperture, such as f/1.4–2.8, as well as for recording in LOG format at ISO settings above 400. Its low refractive index makes it suitable for sensors up to 100 MP. A DefenderSlim cap is included for smudge-free handling.
