It helped a lot with oiliness (I have a lot of oiliness), but to the point that it made my hair very dry, even though I always use hair mask and conditioner. After about 1 month of use, I had many broken hairs and it caused split ends much faster. It may not cause a problem on a man's scalp.

I was trying to find the right shampoo for oily hair for a very long time, when I decided to try this one. My hair was much oilier with shampoos like ultrex, etc. This made a change in my hair. Now they don't look oily anymore and I won't have to worry ever again about waking up with greasy hair.
