The Optex VXS-DAM-X5-W wired motion sensor combines infrared and microwave detection at 10.525 GHz, with 2 pyroelectric elements. It covers a 90° angle and a range of 12 m, with 16 detection zones. SMDA logic and 5 distance adjustment levels help prevent false alarms.

It is wall-mounted at a height of 0.8–1.2 m and features antimasking protection, a rear tamper switch, and an automatic temperature compensation circuit. The front cover color can be changed with an optional cover.
