You hold down the button of the original remote control for 10 seconds until the door starts and stops in the middle of its path. Then you press the button of the new remote control that you want to program. It is not essentially a copy but a synchronization with the motor's circuit board.

    4 stars because it is very nice, elegant, metallic, but the two smaller buttons are VERY SMALL!!!
