  • The pulse oximeter is a medical device used for quickly measuring the oxygen level in the blood and heart rate. 
  • The oxygen saturation level in the blood is denoted by the symbol SpO2 and is expressed as a percentage.
  • The normal saturation range is 95-99%. 
  • The heart rate shows how many times your heart beats per minute.
