We have had it for years. Now I read the comments and I think that everything is subjective. I suppose that for the money it costs, it is flawless. Surely with 300 and 400 euros you will get something different. Leave the fact that you pay what you get.

As soon as I got it, I burned it three times and oiled it (I did everything the manufacturer recommended). The next day, I tried making sandwiches as the instructions said they should be cooked, and they burned on top and bottom, turning white. The next day, I tried making pitas and the same thing happened. I thought I was doing something wrong. Long story short, I couldn't manage to make a nice toast or melt the cheese properly. The cooking on one side was undercooked and on the other side it was burnt, or the cheese melted and one side was burnt while the other was fine. I tried all the settings from the first to the fifth. I returned it to the store and got a new one for half the price, and it works properly. Meanwhile, I had read some comments about the cooking and thought how clueless those people were, they must be putting it on high heat, but in the end, they were absolutely right.

The Bosch TCG4215 toaster cooks everything exceptionally well, from food in the provided tray (of course, a small amount), skewers, patties, to even fried eggs without any oil; nothing sticks. It cleans very easily (especially if you place the plate on the bottom side without ridges, the only problem is that the liquid drainage hole is only for the wavy side). I didn't give it 5 stars because shortly before the two-year mark (fortunately within the warranty), it had a short circuit in the switches, and you couldn't adjust the temperature of the upper plate (there are controls for the temperature of the upper and lower plates), but the toaster still worked. They immediately replaced it at the store where I bought it, and now I will try the new model that has changes in the switches (they look sturdier) where the previous one eventually broke. I am returning on 3/13/2025. I gave it 5 stars because it has proven to last!!! (the first one was ultimately defective)

There is a problem with the meats.
Apart from chicken, it does not cook other meats. The thermostat cuts off quickly and the temperature is not sufficient and stable. It is not suitable for practical meats. It manages well for toast and minced meat

I bought it a year and a half ago for my parents, 80 euros, it's very clever because the plates rotate and you can cook on a smooth surface, you can adjust the resistances to different temperatures (although this is a bit silly because one is numbered and the other is high - low) it cooks relatively quickly, it has containers for the meat fat, but the only thing that bothers me is the cleaning because both the plastic parts and it's a hassle.

I have been using it for 2 years now. It has never had the slightest problem. It toasts quickly and evenly up to 6 slices. Every morning I make eggs and bacon in 5 minutes, without sticking at all. Incredibly convenient for family use. For those who complain that it burns the toast, it's simple, it has 2 settings for the top plate and 5 for the bottom, with 2-3 tries you find the solution...

In no case is it worth its money (100 euros).
For the same amount of money, there are much more worthy (in terms of quality and ergonomics) options out there.
Edit 2 months later: The bottom coil burned out!

It bakes baguettes very well, but it burns the toast. Whether on low or high intensity, they always burn on the outside and are not crispy. However, if you use it as a non-stick pan, it's fine.
