Eva —a restless student in the department of Platonic physics at the University of Pure Sciences (her own names for them)— is eventually overcome by the "sinful" curiosity of the real world and decides to escape for a while from the lofty heights of pure theory, where her school operates, and let her curiosity lead her.

And she begins her explorations from the starry sky. She wants to give in to the strange attraction that people have always felt for it, which has been the driving force behind the birth of the idea of a governed nature first of all and science itself later.

This book is nothing other than the story of Eva and three of her friends who share her concerns and embark on an exploratory journey to the starry sky with only the elementary high school mechanics in their luggage and guided by the questions they pose along the way.

In learning —as well as in science— the most important are the questions, not the answers: this will be their favorite motto along the way. The "bitten apple that falls" —the biblical apple and Newton's apple together— is the sketch that Eva will inspire to symbolize the only authentic motive of science and learning: humanity's innate curiosity about the world. For Eva, it also symbolizes the creative school where she dreams of teaching one day.

Written —for the most part— in a dialogical format, the book appeals to restless educators, to citizens with a genuine interest in science, and of course, to students who feel stifled —just like the heroes of the book— by the sterility of the way science is taught in our country.
