AWESOME baby gate, the best one out there. I have bought two, the small one and the large one, and they are incredibly stable. They are worth every euro. For proper installation, you should measure both sides and tighten it evenly so that it is not 20 inches on one side and 40 inches on the other, for example. And as for choosing, get the BIGGER one that fits your dimensions so that it has the smallest possible opening for maximum stability. For example, if your door or wall is 95cm, don't get the one that is for openings of 65-100cm, but get the one that is for openings of 90-130cm so that it doesn't need to be fully extended. And it's good to tighten it from the opposite side that you will be holding onto so as not to strain the safety features on the side and cause them to loosen.

Although it claims to support 180 kilograms and 1 meter of distance, it was installed at a distance of 95cm with a person weighing 90 kilograms on it. At some point, it simply broke off from its base, the rubber came off, and it fell. Surely the study was done for a distance less than 90cm, as the instructions "recommend" that.

Another negative aspect is that the handles are close to each other and it is not convenient for someone with broader shoulders or who prefers an open grip. And there is a gap in the cushions exactly where someone would hold on for chin-ups.

So, in summary, get it if you have a distance less than 90cm, weigh less than 95 kilograms, and want it for casual pulls. Personally, I would get something else.

Perfect! I have installed it in two different places (only one is shown in the photos) and the process was very easy. It holds up comfortably up to 80 kilos, which is what I have tested. Not even a hint that it might fall, no matter what I have tried.

Very good and at a good price. Due to the large surface area of the arms that are attached to the door frame, it is very stable!

I've had it for 4 years now on a door frame and I use it quite often.

Hands down the best choice for a pull-up bar designed for hallways/doors.
    - Affordable
    - Very good material quality (the metal hasn't dented/doesn't bend even with explosive movements, the pads are quite good and don't tire the hand)
    - Durability over time
    - Doesn't slip, you need to be a bit careful with installation but if placed correctly it doesn't move at all.

Obviously, since it's designed for small spaces, it's only suitable for chin ups.

A small downside is that after a certain number of pull-ups, the hooks/screws loosen a bit and you have to push them in so it doesn't come loose.

Ideal exercise equipment for those who have made up their minds, with a good grip on the door frame. After two or three months, it becomes (not the manufacturer's fault) a hanger for belts, hoodies, and jeans... Good construction though, for both uses!

Excellent pull-up bar so far, with initial tests.
It doesn't have a manual but with a YouTube video you can figure it out.
Sturdy metal with soft foam handles.

It has a large step left and right to rest on the door frame and tightens strongly.
Good locks, but they are plastic and don't inspire much confidence in their durability over time; we'll see how they hold up when loosening.

I will return after years to see how it holds up to my weight of 80 kg and daily back pull-ups.

The Viking pull-up bar I bought seems excellent so far. Its construction is sturdy and inspires confidence, while assembly was relatively easy. The feeling during use is stable and safe, offering good support for various exercises.

The only negative I have noticed is that the locks tend to loosen after prolonged use, so you need to reposition them to keep the pull-up bar safe. Nevertheless, I don't think this significantly detracts from the overall experience, especially if used with care.

Overall, a very good and reliable pull-up bar for home use

it may shift from its position by 1 centimeter after months.

it helps if you do pull-ups in such a way that when you grab it, it's like you're trying to screw it in.

because if you do it the opposite way, you will gradually unscrew it.

but you will notice when it unscrews, you will never fall.

    it is very good

Unacceptable, after 2-3 exercises the safety gives way and the bar starts to loosen and become dangerous. Isn't there a way to stabilize the safety in its position? As it is now, it is useless and perhaps dangerous because you rely on it and do not control the bar.

The paint came off at the edge and inside there was rust, one of the sponges is not stable, it turns around and around... time will tell if it will last, at first it needs tightening every day, I did it 3 times and each time it had reached the end but the next day it could be tightened even more

Excellent, you need to be careful to buy the right length for your space as there are various sizes and it will perform better if you choose a size that does not need to be fully stretched, e.g. do not get a length up to 90cm if your door is exactly 90. Then, you need to be careful to do the installation and tightening correctly and it won't move at all.

For the job I got it for, it's just right (daily dead hanging, aiming for one minute). If you want it for dynamic pull-ups, better look for a wall-mounted one, for wider grip. That's all.

I have to say that the pull-up bar is perfect, of good quality, and worth the money. For those asking whether it causes damage to the door or the wall: No, it does not cause any damage. The only thing you need to be careful about is to tighten the pull-up bar well and to place the safety locks very securely. The safety locks are those red rings that have an arrow pointing in one direction.

It's great in terms of price, quality, and stability. I extended it from 65 centimeters to 80 centimeters, very stable, I've held on a few times already, and there's no issue. I'm around 100 kilos. The only possibly negative point, and maybe it's unfair to take away a star for this, is that if you want to change its height for different exercises, it takes about ten minutes to do it properly so it doesn't move out of place. At least that's how long it took me. I just don't want to change its position. I would suggest getting the pull-up bar that extends the least for more safety. It comes in various lengths.

So I put it on the wall. For two years, it was fine. But suddenly, without any prior warning, it came off while I was sitting with my legs bent, and I fell to the floor hitting my neck and head. 7 stitches in my head and a brace for 10 days. I was hospitalized for two days. Even though I checked regularly for stability. Unreliable!

it may shift from its position by 1 centimeter after months.

it helps if you do pull-ups in such a way that when you grab it, it's like you're trying to screw it in.

because if you do it the opposite way, you will gradually unscrew it.

but you will notice when it unscrews, you will never fall.

    it is very good

It's sturdy, but just to be sure I secured it better with 4 screws and wall plugs, because if it slips while you're doing pull-ups, you could get seriously hurt...

The instructions regarding the installation method could be a bit clearer. Other than that, it is of good quality and sturdy.

I had bought two others before. This one is much better! Sturdy and grips the door better. Also, it doesn't leave a mark on the frame as it has larger ends and nice elastic material.

Very good. It just needs proper installation and with the red plastics it has, you need to lock it so it doesn't turn and come loose.

I have had it for 3 months and I use it almost daily. It is stable and I haven't had any problems so far. Of course, I am relatively light, so I don't know how it would be for someone heavier.

Very good product. Quality construction, sturdy and durable. It has large bases, which help to not damage the door frame. The pads are convenient and overall it is a very user-friendly and practical product.

Unreliable!

  • Perfect! I have installed it in two different places (only one is shown in the photos) and the process was very easy. It holds up comfortably up to 80 kilos, which is what I have tested. Not even a hint that it might fall, no matter what I have tried.

  • Very good and at a good price. Due to the large surface area of the arms that are attached to the door frame, it is very stable!

  • I've had it for 4 years now on a door frame and I use it quite often.

  • Ideal exercise equipment for those who have made up their minds, with a good grip on the door frame. After two or three months, it becomes (not the manufacturer's fault) a hanger for belts, hoodies, and jeans... Good construction though, for both uses!
