Description

The window cleaning robot comes with a remote control, so you can easily guide the entire process. It takes no more than four minutes to complete one square meter, and in case of a power outage, this smart device will operate for an additional 20 minutes to finish what it started.

The Hutt DDC55 from Xiaomi has a new frequency inversion function. This means it can autonomously adjust the suction power depending on the degree of pollution detected automatically.

It also features a built-in artificial intelligence function that detects obstacles and turns the device to avoid tripping.

First of all, I have to say that it cleans very well. I have large windows at a great height and I don't have access from the outside. It solved my problem. I give it 4 stars because it fell twice when it reached a corner of the window and didn't stop cleaning as it should, resulting in it coming off. The second time it fell, the rings also came off, and I had a hard time catching them because, as I mentioned before, I don't have access to the outside area. However, it is worth buying for cases like mine.

It worked for the first 2-3 times and cleaned relatively satisfactorily, especially for high windows that are otherwise inaccessible. Unfortunately, after the third use, it doesn't clean well at all and obviously doesn't have the same power, because it doesn't stick to the glass as it should and slips, leaving untouched spots. Final thought? Nice invention, but a waste of money.

I bought it about 3 years ago when I saw a video about how it works. I was satisfied with the way it cleans, I would give it 4 stars. Unfortunately, it broke after some time... I thought it was bad luck and bought the same one again. The second one didn't last even a year. Of course, there is no one here to repair them.

I bought it with skepticism and prepared that I had thrown my money away... because I have a big and permanent problem with my hands and a possible surgery, cleaning the windows is very burdensome for me.

It cleans much better than I expected. Fingerprints, dust, pollen, etc. are a piece of cake. I deliberately put it on a large glass veranda table with A LOT of pollen and dust on it and it didn’t smudge as I expected with so much dust. It didn’t fall off the table.
Yes, it misses the small corner on the windows, which is logical since the cloths are round and the edges are right angles. But the area is very small. Negligible disadvantage for me since it does EVERYTHING else... besides, I can do that by hand if I want as a supplement.

It makes noise like a vacuum cleaner, but at a level where you can listen and talk normally. Nothing terrible.
You don’t leave it unattended. When I use it, I am somewhere nearby or in the next room doing something else and just keep an eye on it. When it finishes, it notifies you. When it’s on the table and about to fall and stops, it notifies you. It has a remote control. If it doesn’t do a spot well, you can make it go over it again.
When it finishes, it goes to the center and stops. There it leaves an imperceptible circle of lint when you detach it from the glass. The solution is very simple, I move it lower and remove it from the bottom side of the glass. Or you can just use a tissue to remove it... but now we’re nitpicking...

The package included 6 sets of cloths. I did all the windows and balcony doors with one set, just preferring to wash the cloth in between for better results. I spray the glass with classic glass cleaner.
It has a very long cable. And a built-in battery so that in case of a power outage it doesn’t lose suction and fall off the glass. This battery lasts 20 minutes as stated in the manual.

I don’t know how long it will last. It seems well built. It also has a safety rope for windows that are very high or in blind spots. If it sticks to the glass, it has very good suction and doesn’t fall. The suction adjusts depending on what the machine detects. It’s not suitable for curved surfaces.

I bought it for 178 euros including shipping and cash on delivery. It’s a lot for these times but it gave me a solution. If it were cheaper, it would undoubtedly be an excellent purchase. If someone can afford it, then no problem.
I wish I had bought it sooner....

Update: I used it on the village windows which were in very, very bad shape. Excellent!
Just because I have narrow windows there, it got stuck once on top and couldn’t go down. Of course, this doesn’t change my good opinion so far.
update no 2: 08/08/2025 still works perfectly, the only thing is it gets stuck sometimes. I haven’t changed the cloths, I just wash them.

Quite convenient and with good results!
It loses the corners and sometimes gets disoriented and stuck in the same spot, but a restart fixes it.
Overall, quite satisfied and with better results than expected!
I recommend it especially if you have windows that are blind or in a dangerous empty space, it will solve your problems.

It cleans the window perfectly. It takes a few minutes for a large balcony door (2.6*2m). It makes a little noise due to the suction, which keeps it on the surface. Its movements mimic a very detailed cleaning, and when it finds the frame, it recognizes it.
