Description & Specifications

Sika FerroGard-903 Plus is an organic-based liquid corrosion inhibitor for protecting steel reinforcement inside concrete. It penetrates the pores of the concrete and forms a protective barrier over the reinforcement, reducing corrosion caused by chlorides and carbonation. It does not prevent water vapour diffusion and can be applied without removing concrete or exposing the reinforcement.

It is used in underground and above-ground structures, as well as in repair work where the reinforcement has corroded or is at risk. It is suitable for protecting both anodic and cathodic areas and can be used in combination with Sika MonoTop, SikaRep, SikaTop and Sikagard.

  • Form: Aqueous solution of amino alcohols and their salts
  • Content: 5 kg
  • Density: Approx. 1.05 kg/l at +20 °C
  • Viscosity: Approx. 20 mPa·s (Brookfield RVT, spindle 2, 100 rpm, 23 °C)

  • Penetration depth: 25–40 mm in 1 month
  • Application temperature: 5–40 °C
  • Consumption: Approx. 0.50 kg/m² (480 ml/m²)
