I will never wash by hand again!

I wanted a small auxiliary washing machine (that is also easy to clean itself). I am absolutely satisfied with the first washes I did.

It is small, elegant, lightweight, with a semi-transparent drum, and two very simple rotating timer knobs for washing and spinning. It has a small tube for filling with water, and another tube that comes out from the bottom to drain the water (afterwards, it is secured to the side with a plastic hook). Inside, there is a small plastic basket with a lid for spinning (we remove it from the device to wash). For the price, the quality of the plastic seemed fine to me for careful use, of course, time will tell, because the small handle at the back broke off in the first few days without us even touching it (the empty washing machine fell off a stool). It also has a slot at the back to wrap and store the cord.

Before the first wash, it needs to be run once without clothes, with warm water and a little soap, for cleaning.

For each wash, I put in about as many dry clothes as the plastic basket can hold.

Examples of *separate* washes:

- Two (thin) pants/tracksuits/bermuda shorts or one long pair of jeans.
- Socks for the whole week (2 people).
- Underwear/vests for the whole week.
- One bath towel, not huge.
- Three small to medium towels.
- One double sheet.
- One fitted sheet and two pillowcases.
- Four to six pillowcases.
- Three to five short-sleeved shirts.
- Two to three long-sleeved shirts.
- Two to three mini dresses or one maxi dress.
- One set of long pajamas.

...and so on.

Winter clothes up to a certain size can logically fit one at a time and cannot be spun, though I haven't tried it.

For different colors, obviously use a color catcher (remove it carefully so it doesn't get stuck anywhere).

In a video, I saw someone washing even a pair of sports shoes in a similar model. They will come out fine, I just wouldn't spin them in the drum because it would shake a lot.

I fill the drum directly from the shower head to control the temperature, or from the bidet for convenience, as another excellent review here suggested. (Personally, I didn't need the filling tube).
On the sides of the drum, there is an indicator "L" for the lowest level and "H" for the highest. Usually, for the initial wash, I fill between these two or to the highest level.

I always use liquid detergent, suitable for both washing machines and hand washing, with built-in fabric softener (I don't think it's an issue, but I prefer liquid because powder doesn't always dissolve well). I just use much less than I would in the large washing machine, which holds three times as many clothes!

If I have dirty clothes, and generally because it helps me do many short washes, I let them soak in warm water (up to 50°C) even overnight, or I use a little stain remover locally.

I choose how long the drum will wash, up to 15 minutes (I usually set it for 5-10, especially if I've soaked beforehand, they come out perfect). Theoretically, you could wash for more than 15 minutes, but after a certain point, it could overheat and stop temporarily, so it's not really worth it. It rotates clockwise and counterclockwise, pauses, and continues. The only thing I would prefer is if it had a program with fewer spins and one with more, but it's not a big deal. The noise is tolerable and expected, with the door closed you can barely hear it, but it finishes so quickly that it doesn't matter.

Once the wash is done, I take out the side hose with the hook and place it in the shower drain or the bathroom floor drain until the water empties (it does so quickly).

Then, I refill with cold water to the low level and do one or two quick five-minute rinses (I check by hand to make sure there is no trace of detergent).

Everything comes out spotless!

The rinse water can also go into the toilet tank or be used to water the garden (especially if the detergent is biodegradable), for those interested.

I read that if it overheats it stops for a while before working again, but with several small (5-10 minute) washes in a row and strategic spinning only for the necessary items, this hasn't happened to me.

Now, about the spinning part:

I gently wring each garment by hand in the sink to remove most of the water.
Then I fill the basket evenly, usually placing the clothes in a circle. I put in half a load, or pants one by one. Don't just throw them in as a tangled mess here and there, because it will shake a lot and some delicate part might get damaged.
On top, it's important to put the "lid" and press it down a bit onto the clothes (you bend it slightly to fit it through the opening).

I turn the spin knob (usually 3-5 minutes). If you distribute and place them evenly, it doesn't shake. In the end, you'll see a lot of water comes out and now the clothes are ready for drying/hanging! In the summer, you don't need the spin function if you're in a hurry, just do a gentle hand wring so they don't drip. For winter, though, don't be afraid to use it, as long as you follow the right steps.

I drain the spin water with the hose. I wipe the interior from the water and/or leave the lid open for a while until it dries.

Overall, a flawless purchase for its price. I can already think of other uses, such as washing the cat's things and then easily disinfecting the drum.
I don't know why some people expected a regular washing machine with hot water supply, etc. Also, if it were for more clothes, it would have to be huge! It's a small device that eliminates hand washing, and it's super easy to use.

So listen!!!! My washing machine broke down at the village because I only went there once a year. So I got this so we can take it with us wherever we go and not need anyone. It washes better than if I washed by hand and also rinses better than by hand. Underwear, t-shirts, socks, pareos, shorts, towels, shirts, delicate silks, all ok. I put the water in myself from the little tap or from the faucet or from a bottle or hot from the shower or whatever is convenient at the time. I never washed for more than 9 minutes and another 9 minutes for a rinse. I use liquid detergent for hand washing so I don't get too much foam. Then I put fabric softener in the rinse and everything is ok. I empty it into the toilet tank or the toilet bowl or the washing machine's water outlet. I've also washed on the kitchen counter. I don't use the spin cycle often, I let them drain and hang them up. It's perfect, you should get it!!!!!!!! I use it at home too when I have 3 clothes I need urgently!!!!! VFM to the max!!

After many uses, let me correct that it's better to use liquid detergent for washing machines instead of liquid for hand washing, as the hand wash one makes more foam and takes longer to rinse out. Also, the spinner is decent but doesn't fit as much as you wash. It can take a pair of shorts, a t-shirt, etc., underwear is ok, it fits them. It's a perfect purchase!!!!!!!

We bought this particular washing machine exclusively to wash baby clothes for two babies with green olive oil soap. It washes the clothes very well and dissolves the green soap sufficiently without leaving stains. It is very simple to use and very convenient if you place it in the bathtub or shower while it is running. The capacity is suitable for baby clothes or for undershirts, t-shirts, and at most shorts. It cannot wash double sheets, jeans, or sweatshirts under any circumstances. Its spin cycle is just enough so that the clothes do not drip onto the balcony below when you hang them out. In no case is it suitable for putting the clothes straight into the dryer afterwards... I would have given 5 stars if it had stated from the beginning in the product features that it can withstand water up to 50 degrees Celsius, and this is because some white clothes require 70 or even 90 degrees. Finally, I should mention that it has nothing to do with the well-known barrel-type machines (carad, serton, delca margarita) which could fit and clean clothes for an entire family, heat the water, and some models even drained the water, but thanks to the International store that shut down all the Greek factories... Other than that, it is a very economical solution for someone who wants it as an auxiliary.

We bought this washing machine for our summer vacation, mainly for washing our children's clothes (11 and 13 years old). Our first impressions after 4-5 washes are very good:

1. Size: Small size and volume, it fit comfortably on the kitchen counter (we didn't have an outlet in the bathroom where we stayed).
2. Capacity: It could fit 4-5 sets (short-sleeved shirt and shorts) of the children's clothes. It struggled a bit with rotating the clothes with more items. Alternatively, it could fit quite a few undergarments, socks, etc.
3. Washing: Quite good, even with cold water (the clothes were not very dirty). For dirtier clothes, a second wash cycle with water change, etc. is needed.
4. Drying: Does a decent job, but due to the small capacity of the drying drum (1 kilogram), you have to constantly be there to put in/take out the clothes. It also needs wedging (or holding!), as it moves from its position.
5. Practicality: It saves you from manual washing, but it's not as convenient because (a) you need to heat the water (or have a hot water supply), (b) it requires filling and emptying after each wash cycle.

For vacations, it was quite good and a fair purchase for what it offers (around 70 euros), and maybe for those who live alone / don't have space for a washing machine. However, I can't imagine any other uses as it is very manual and you have to be there every 15 minutes (wash cycle) to empty the water, fill it, add fabric softener, rinse, spin 3-4 cycles for each wash cycle, etc. X 15 minutes each time = over 1 hour for 3 kilograms of clothes.

First of all, one should keep in mind what they are buying, why they are buying it, and have realistic expectations.
This product is NOT a full regular washing machine in smaller dimensions.
With the money you give, what you get is a drum that rotates with a motor.
It does NOT heat the water.
It does NOT have programs.
It is stable, but just enough to prevent the clothes from dripping when you go to hang them.

However, what it gives you is a complete replacement of the process that strains your back and hands, namely hand washing.
You put the clothes inside with a little detergent, you set it for 15 minutes, then you empty the water (easy, with the hose). You refill with water and run it again for 5 minutes to rinse. You empty and refill with water, along with fabric softener, and run it for about ten minutes. You open it, empty the water, and hang your clothes.
For those who find this troublesome, remember - if you ever did it - the whole fatigue of hand washing and wringing, and think about what you replace all of that with; holding a hose three times and placing it on the drain to empty the water. We're talking about the same effort it takes to empty and refill a bucket three times that you use for mopping.

THIS is what this machine does. And for its price, I didn't expect anything more. We bought it for our vacation home, and it saved us a lot of trouble. Half an hour of involvement every few days (by involvement, I mean just remembering to empty the water every quarter of an hour, otherwise it worked on its own) and we don't need to spend money on washing our clothes outside.

Be careful not to overload it, it has instructions, follow them.

I had previously bought the AD-8051, which is similar to this one. I needed another one for the village since we didn't have a washing machine and for the few days we go there, it wasn't worth buying a regular one.
Considering its capacity, it has an excellent quality-price ratio. It used to be more expensive in the past, but now its price has dropped and it is definitely worth more.

The washing and spinning of the clothes (although it requires a small process of emptying the drum and balancing the clothes) is similar to that of an authentic washing machine.

Just don't overload it in order to have efficiency... it is preferable to do more washes rather than thinking that the product is to blame and end up straining it.

I suggest you pay attention to the following: a) secure it somewhere so that it doesn't move from its place, b) when spinning, divide the clothes in two, even if they fit tightly. It hasn't caused me any problems, but I notice that it is more effective this way. c) place it somewhere so that the water can drain, ideally inside the bathtub.
Finally, like the other model I mentioned earlier, you have to add hot water yourself. It's not a deal-breaker, of course, but keep it in mind.
I highly recommend it for similar usage needs like mine, but also for students or even for those who need to hand wash delicate clothes, which makes this chore a breeze.
It loses a star because it feels a bit plasticky, but we didn't buy it to sleep with it anyway.
