Coming from the Scarlett 2i2 4th gen, I have to say the following.
It was purchased solely for the use of an electric guitar, as its construction and features are intended for this instrument. It was connected with 2 balanced 6.3mm to XLR cables to my monitors, and the drivers were installed in 2 minutes.
In Reaper with IK Multimedia Amplitube 5, with a buffer of 64 and a frequency of 192k, I have a delay of 1.4ms. With the same exact settings on the Scarlett, I had a delay of 59.4ms, which was noticeable. The choice for passive/active pickups and the JFet/Pure selection offer an extra layer of sound color in your playing, providing both sustain and versatility. The Z-Tone can add an extra tone to your playing, but for my taste, it was not necessary.
Additionally, with the purchase, you receive a gift to choose 2 out of the 6 IK Multimedia plugins, such as drums/bass k.o.k, each of which costs 30-40 euros.
The only thing I can find as a "lack" is that if you want to use the built-in tuner, you have to go for the regular version of the card and not the solo, which is now worth it considering the price difference (25 euros).
For my needs, which were reducing the delay, adding extra versatility to my playing, and avoiding continuous crashes of my DAW due to the card's drivers (see Scarlett), the purchase is more than worth it.
Προερχομενος απο scarlet 2i2 4th gen έχω να πω τα εξής.
Αγοράστηκε καθαρα και μονο για χρήση ηλεκτρικής κιθαρας μιας και η κατασκευή της με αυτα που προσφέρει προοριζεται για αυτο το οργανο.
Συνδέθηκε με 2 balanced 6.3mm to XRL καλωδια στα monitor μου και τα drivers εγκαταστάθηκαν σε 2 λεπτά.
Σε reaper με fx ΙΚ Multimedia Amplitube 5 με buffer 64 και συχνοτητα 192κ έχω 1.4m/s delay, με της ιδιες ρυθμισεις ακριβως με την scarlet ειχα 59.4m/s delay οπου και ηταν αισθητο. Η επιλογη για passive/active μαγνητες και η επιλογη JFet/Pure προσφερουν ενα εξτρα layer ηχοχρώματος στο παιξιμο σας προσφεροντας και sustain αλλά και versatiltiy. Το Ζ-Τone μπορει να προσφέρει εναν εξτρα τονο στο παιξιμο αλλα για τα δικα μου γουστα δεν χρειαστηκε.
Επίσης με την αγορά της έχετε δωρο να διαλέξετε σε 2 απο τα 6 plugins της ΙΚ Multimedia οπως drums/bass k.o.k τα οποια κοστιζουν 30-40ε το καθένα.
Το μονο που μπορω να βρώ σαν "έλλειψη" ειναι πως αν θελεις το ενσωματομενο κουρδιστηρι θα πρεπει να πας στην κανονικη εκδοση της καρτας και οχι στην solo που πλεον με την διαφορα τιμης τους (25ε) αξιζει.
Για τις δικες μου αναγκες που ηταν η μειωση του delay, εξτρα versatiltiy στο παιξιμο και η αποφυγή των συνεχομενων crash του daw μου εξαιτιας των drivers της καρτας (βλεπε scarlett) αξιζει και με το παραπανω η αγορα της.
