If you are looking for a high-quality portable speaker with the ability to connect not only via Bluetooth but also Wi-Fi/Airplay, and function as a smart assistant (Google Assistant, Alexa) with voice commands, then it is an amazing choice. I have connected it with Google Assistant and now I can tell it to turn off the lights, adjust the temperature on the tado, and generally have access to all the smart devices that work with Google - I haven't tried it with Alexa because I don't have it.
!!!Attention, in order to activate Google Assistant from the Bose app on my phone (iPhone), I had to use a mobile VPN app (ExpressVPN, I downloaded it in trial mode for a few days) so that I could download the Google Assistant app (when I did it, it wasn't available in the Greek AppStore) and connect it to Bose. After this, you don't need anything, it works normally without a VPN.!!!
It is not cheap and I recommend getting it for under 300 euros when you find an opportunity (I got it for 289). It has a long battery life, at around 30% volume it lasts the promised 12 hours, it is splash-proof (be careful, not waterproof), it easily fills any room no matter how big it is with powerful bass and plays equally well outdoors. In an open outdoor space, you will need to have it at 100% volume if you want really loud music/sound and not just background noise, but this is not a problem because it doesn't distort or crackle. Additionally, it has the ability to link with other compatible Bose speakers to play together, and it charges with USB-C. The competition from similar devices, at least when I bought it, was mainly the portable Sonos which has clearly more powerful sound (but not better quality), theoretically slightly better autonomy, but mainly it is much heavier and bulkier to the point where you can barely call it portable, for me that was discouraging, otherwise consider it. You buy Bose, at Bose price, okay, but it's worth it!
Αν ψάχνετε για ποιοτικό φορητό ηχείο με δυνατότητα σύνδεσης όχι μόνο bluetooth αλλά και wifi / Airplay, και λειτουργία ως smart assistant (Google Assistant, Alexa) με φωνητικές εντολές, τότε είναι μια εκπληκτική επιλογή. Το έχω συνδέσει με Google Assistant και πλέον του λέω να μου κλέισει τα φώτα, να μου ρυθμίσει θερμοκρασία στο tado και γενικά έχεις πρόσβαση σε όλες τις smart συσκευές που συνεργάζονται με google - δεν το έχω δοκιμάσει με Alexa γιατί δεν έχω.
!!!Προσοχή για να ενεργοποίησετε το Google Assistant από την εφαρμογή της Bose στο κιν μου (iPhone), εγώ χρειάστηκε να χρησιμοποιήσω εφαρμογή mobile VPN (ExpressVPN, το κατέβασα σε trial mode free για κάποιες μέρες) ώστε να μπορέσω να κατεβάσω το Google Assistant app (όταν το έκανα δεν ήταν διαθέσιμο στο ελληνικό AppStore) και να το συνδέσω με το Bose. Μετά από αυτήν την φορά δεν χρειάζεται κάτι, παίζει κανονικά χωρίς κάποιο VPN.!!!
Δεν είναι φθηνό και προτείνω να το πάρετε κάτω από 300 ευρώ όταν βρείτε ευκαιρία (το πήρα στα 289). Έχει μεγάλη διάρκεια μπαταρίας, με ένταση γύρω στο 30% σου βγάζει τις 12 ώρες που υπόσχεται, είναι splash-proof (προσοχή, όχι αδιάβροχο), γεμίζει άνετα οποιοδήποτε δωμάτιο όσο μεγάλο και να είναι σε δυνατές εντάσεις με γεμάτο μπάσο και παίζει εξίσου καλά και outdoors. Σε ανοικτό εξωτερικό χώρο θα πρέπει να το έχετε στο 100% volume αν θέλετε πραγματικά δυνατή μουσική/ήχο και όχι background, αλλά αυτό δεν ειναι πρόβλημα γιατί δεν παραμορφώνει ούτε τρίζουν τα μπάσα. Στα συν του επίσης η δυνατότητα να το κάνετε Link με άλλα συμβατά ηχεία της Bose για να παίζουν μαζί, και η φόρτιση με usb-c. Ο ανταγωνισμός από αντίστοιχες συσκευές, όταν το πήρα τουλάχιστον, ήταν κυρίως το φορητό Sonos το οποίο έχει δυνατότερο ήχο σαφώς (αλλά όχι ποιοτικότερο), θεωρητικά λίγο καλύτερη αυτονομία, αλλά κυρίως είναι πολύ πιο βαρύ και ογκώδες, σε βαθμό που το λες οριακά φορητό, αυτό για μένα ήταν αποτρεπτικό, σε διαφορετική περιπτωση δείτε το. Αγοράζεις Bose, σε τιμή Bose, ok, αλλά τα αξίζει!
