Wurth Special 250 gasket sealant is a cold-vulcanizing silicone rubber for sealing surfaces, joints and cracks. It withstands temperatures from −50 °C to +250 °C, and up to +300 °C briefly. It is suitable for use on engines and vehicle bodies, including water pumps, oil pans, radiators and crankcases.
It fills large irregularities and seals effectively even under prolonged vibration. It does not run or form strings, and offers good adhesion and chemical resistance. It forms a skin after a few minutes and vulcanizes at a rate of approximately 1.5 mm per day.
