If you want to create a dimmer that you can control remotely for opening and closing, this is the switch you are looking for. I think for any other use, a Wi-Fi socket is preferable to cutting the lamp's cable, for example, in order to insert the switch to open and close it remotely. There is an option for timers through the application. It does not show consumption. In the opening and closing, as mentioned in another comment, the relay can be heard but it is not annoying.
