The W.F Titrant kit measures water hardness in German degrees (°d), for checking the operation and adjusting a water-softening system, as well as selecting the appropriate system. The measurement is carried out using drops of liquid: drops are added to the sample until its colour changes from red to green, and the number of drops corresponds to the German degrees of hardness.

    I usually bought tests from a large water processing company in Greece that measured French degrees. This one measures German degrees. Another difference is that it had an expiration date (about 1 year), while this one does not, and from my experience, when it approached its expiration, it did not dissolve well in water, which this one also did. So I took some measurements, they came out, but I have my doubts. Health.
