Installation-Functionality Check:
The detector is installed on the wall or the ceiling of the room.
The red LED visible through the TEST button blinks every 30 seconds and indicates that the detector is operating normally.
If the detector begins to beep every 32 seconds and the LED blinks, it means the battery needs to be replaced.
Check the detector every week by pressing the TEST button. The alarm should sound within the next 20 seconds.
Attention: the check is done only in this way. Do not introduce smoke into the device.
If the room temporarily fills with smoke, e.g. from cooking, and the detector starts to sound, open the windows to ventilate the area and the alarm will stop.
Keep the detector clean by wiping it with a slightly damp clean cloth.

I bought 4 pieces and I tried them one by one with smoke inside a closed warehouse where I lit a small fire and had them above the smoke. Well, I have to say that they all worked but I think they have a slight delay, while I had them above the smoke and we are talking about smoke, they took a while to activate. They have a battery inside. The four stars are for the delay I mentioned, otherwise they would have had 5 stars without hesitation. I have to say that I don't know how they work, if the delay is normal because I haven't had a smoke alarm again. I have to say that the sound is very loud.
I come back: It happened twice that we didn't turn on the extractor fan, and both times the alarm was activated. They work very well and the sound can be heard in the neighborhood. So, five stars because it worked when it was needed!
Αγόρασα 4 τεμάχια οπου και τα δοκίμασα ενα ενα με καπνό μέσα σε κλειστό χώρο αποθήκη όπου άναψα μια μικρή φωτιά και τα είχα πάνω από τον καπνό., λοιπόν να πω ότι δούλεψαν όλα αλλά νομίζω ότι έχουν μια κάποια καθυστέρηση, ενώ τα είχα πάνω από τον καπνό και μιλάμε για ντουμάνι άργησαν να χτυπήσουν. Έχουν μέσα και μπαταρία. τα τέσσερα αστέρια είναι για την καθυστέρηση που ανέφερα αλλιώς τα 5 τα είχανε με κλειστά μάτια. Να πω πως δεν ξέρω πως λειτουργούν, αν η καθυστέρηση είναι φυσιολογική γιατί δεν έτυχε να ξανά έχω συναγερμό καπνού. Να πω πως ο ήχος είναι πάρα πολύ δυνατός.
Επανέρχομαι: Έτυχε δύο φορές να μην ανάψουμε απορροφητήρα, και τις δύο φορές ενεργοποιήθηκε ο συναγερμός. Δουλεύουν πολύ καλά και ο ήχος ακούγεται στην γειτονιά. Πέντε αστέρια λοιπόν γιατί εκεί που χρειάστηκε δούλεψε!

Although I placed them on the ceiling on a wooden surface and on drywall respectively, after 10 days both of the ones I bought had fallen, and one of them even stopped working. It might be better to screw them in with the screws it comes with because the double-sided tape won't hold them. Maybe with another tape, it would have been stable and wouldn't have fallen.

Ίσως είναι καλύτερα να βιδωθούν με βίδες που έχει γιατί η ταινία διπλής όψεως δε θα τους κρατήσει. Μπορεί με άλλη ταινία, να είναι ήταν σταθερό και να μην έπεφτε.
Very good detector—for the money it's perfect. The only comment is that the battery was already dead, so it left us hanging one afternoon. I suggest having a 9V handy just in case.
