The GODOX VD-Mic is a directional microphone that offers exceptional sound recording quality. Ideal for vlogging, live streaming, interviews, and all kinds of video recording. The audio frequency is 100-20KHz, while the maximum pressure level is 120dB. It can be connected to cameras, camcorders, smartphones, tablets, recorders, and other recording devices using a 3.5mm TRS and TRR cable.

It provides cardioid sound pickup orientation, a technology that ensures sound isolation by eliminating unnecessary noises, such as in crowded or echoey spaces.

It is only 8cm tall, 21mm in diameter, and weighs 40gr. Its aluminum construction makes it extremely durable.

Finally, it is equipped with an anti-vibration mount to avoid recording sounds from the camera's abrupt movement.

    While its sound is decent, the microphone only works when connected directly to the camera and nowhere else. It doesn't work with the external sound card when I connect it to take advantage of its good preamps, nor does it work with the external audio recorder Zoom H5. All other microphones I have work perfectly everywhere. I believe it's not worth the money just for the problem I mentioned above.
