Escape from the Aliens in Outer Space is a strategy and bluffing board game set on a damaged research spaceship. The ship's systems have failed, plunging it into darkness. But the worst part is that a mysterious alien epidemic has infiltrated the ship, turning the human crew into terrifying monsters! The remaining crew tries to save their lives by escaping from the abandoned spaceship, but in the darkness, the aliens roam... hungry for human flesh.
The game is played on a hex-based map representing the spaceship. Each player receives a map sheet and a pencil. The map sheets must be in the same zone, and each zone has its specific name. Starting with the first player and proceeding clockwise, each round, each player must make a move. To achieve this, the player must write on their map sheet the coordinates of the sector they are moving to. Each time players move into dangerous sectors, they must draw a card; these cards force players to reveal their position or lie about it, depending on the card. Each card is kept secret from the other players.
The goal of the humans is to escape using the escape hatches, while the goal of the aliens is to hunt the humans. The identity and position of each player remain secret, so you will need to interpret the movements and behaviors of other players to find out who they are and where they really are.
