Eric Arthur Blair, known as George Orwell, was born on June 25, 1903. He was educated, worked hard, fought, loved, smoked, read, drank, discussed, fell ill, laughed, experienced pain, struggled, got married, and wrote (his most famous works are "1984" and "Animal Farm") before leaving this world on January 21, 1950.
