Description

Replacement Filter for the Ceramic 1 countertop device by Veluda.

It is made from natural materials as the technology of ceramic filters represents a natural method of water disinfection and purification.

This Filter includes two stages of processing. Specifically, it has a ceramic casing and compressed granulated activated carbon from 100% Coconut Shell (Coconut Granulated Activated Carbon-GAC) inside with a filtration pore of 0.2m for multiple filtering.

Specifically, it removes not only dirt, sediments, rust, stones, and other particles, but also radioactive iodine, chlorine, trihalomethanes, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), lead, asbestos, and other chemicals, as well as microbes or other pathogenic microorganisms. It also contains calcium sulfite, which removes chlorine and heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium, and aluminum 100 times more effectively than activated carbon.

  • Construction materials: Ceramic Coating and Granulated Carbon
  • Filtration pore: 0.2 micron
  • Maximum operating pressure: 3 bar
  • Maximum flow rate: 3.5 LPM
  • Maximum temperature: 38°C
  • Weight: 2 kg

As soon as I opened it, I saw that the black base that screws onto the filter had come off the ceramic body and pieces of the carbon inside the ceramic element had spilled out. After I glued it back together temporarily and placed it in my filter, I let water run through it for a while and then poured it into a glass. Needless to say, I threw it away and put the old filter back in. 25 euros thrown in the trash. It's a shame for a company as well-known as Veluda to offer such products to consumers. The water in Rhodes is very clean but we use a filter just in case. That white cloudy part in the water, I assume, is part of the ceramic element that ended up in the glass.

My mother opened it to clean it as we do with ceramics, and here is the result! With minimal use for 9 months

I give it 3 stars because I bought it to replace the filter of my Olympus camera, but it doesn't fit because the thread is slightly smaller than the one my filter had. So, BE CAREFUL if you want it for an Olympus filter, it DOES NOT FIT...
