Self-adhesive draft stopper made of foam material for doors and windows. Protects against cold, drafts, and moisture. Can be installed easily and quickly.
See Description & SpecificationsOverall, users feel that it does the job well and provides satisfactory insulation, and they appreciate its good value for money. They also mention that it can stay in good condition for more than one winter. However, several point out that the adhesive may not hold well, especially on frames exposed to direct sunlight, so proper installation is important.
My review concerns only the adhesive of the draft stopper.
I bought the wide one with 2.5 centimeters. I had reservations at first when installing it regarding the adhesive it has, which seemed to be a few days old, completely ineffective at sticking to the surface. When I tried to remove the draft stopper because I installed it incorrectly, it wouldn't come off at all until the foam tore and I was left with it in my hands.
As for the insulation it provides, it's like all the others.
I put them on the windows of the house last year and they lasted through a second winter... I hope they will last through a third one, for now they have not deteriorated.
I ordered three pieces and one of them was smaller in size.
Luckily, it still served its purpose for the job I needed it for...
For the money, it's great, it does the job perfectly. Like all air stops, they are sensitive to sun and dust and are not designed to last forever, that's why they are cheap, you replace them when needed with a new one and your job is once again perfectly done.
