Sanctband developed the Flossband consisting of 4 different resistance levels. The different resistance levels allow for different applications of the bands to stimulate various layers of tissue.
How does Flossband work? Through various application possibilities, compression is exerted on the muscles by the Flossband. The high pressure exerted has an inhibitory effect on the pain receptors and the underlying fascia, relaxing the adhesion on weak bonds. This occurs under the active and passive movement of the limb where the Flossband is wrapped. When the band is released, the blood level terminates, and the fresh blood hydrates the tissue, leading to the relief of various types of pain.
When is the Flossband used?
- Before or after training.
- As a recovery method in physiotherapy.
- When pain prohibits movement in the athlete or patient.
This technique improves the body's power transmission pathways, generating more power in the tissue, improving viscoelasticity, and requiring less energy for mobility.
Differences in colors:
- Green: Injury – Warm-up
- Blue: Warm-up
- Purple: Muscle – Myofascial
- Gray: Muscle – Myofascial
How tight should it be?
- For muscle use: stretch 50-70%
- For fascia: at least 50%
- For injury: less than 30%
Important safety instructions:
- The Flossband is not a toy, keep it away from children.
- Use the Flossband only with knowledge of its beneficial properties and risks or under the supervision of a therapist.
- Check the Flossband before each use for any wear and use it only if it is in perfect condition.
- Do not use the Flossband if you are allergic to latex.
