Description

  • Mapegrout Thixotropic is used in all concrete repair works such as reconstruction of reinforcement cover, repair of beam edges, columns, and balcony edges that have been damaged due to the oxidation of their reinforcement.
  • Thanks to its high mechanical strength, it can be used for repairs on load-bearing reinforcement. Made from cement binders, granulometrically graded aggregates, special additives, and synthetic fibers, it is prepared by mixing a 25 kg bag with 3.8-4.1 liters of water.
  • Mapegrout Thixotropic is applied with a spatula, trowel, or spray on solid substrates that must be clean, have a rough surface, and have been previously moistened with water. It repairs surfaces up to 30-35 mm thick in a single layer without formwork.
  • For better curing of the material and greater reduction of shrinkage, it can be mixed with the curing agent Mapecure SRA, at a ratio of 0.25% by weight.
