This intervention aims to improve the production conditions of agricultural products, as well as the economic and social position of the rural population and indirectly of all citizens.

This book examines and analyzes agricultural policy as expressed through various measures implemented in specific sectors that pertain to the entire agricultural sector. The first part of the book analyzes the forms of policies that have been applied at different times in various areas of agricultural activity. The analysis includes the categorization of sectors, the necessity of implementing agricultural policy in these sectors, the design of the intervention, its application in specific sectors, and the evaluation of its effectiveness.

The second part of the book describes the institutions and institutional bodies of the European Union, the evolution of its various policies, and provides a detailed analysis of the Common Agricultural Policy from its establishment to the present day. Finally, the Agricultural Development policy with a horizon towards 2020 is also presented and analyzed.
