Description

Dynamic AMOLED 2X

Bright, vivid and smooth

The Dynamic AMOLED 2X display impresses with its vivid colours and exceptional clarity, offering an unparalleled viewing experience even under the sun. Plus, it significantly reduces eye strain and fatigue, so you can enjoy your favorite shows in comfort, morning, noon and night.

Gorilla Glass Victus

The toughest Gorilla Glass yet

Designed to scratch less and protect both front and back, this is the toughest Gorilla Glass in a Galaxy smartphone

The resolution revolution continues

Triple Main Camera

With the triple main camera you'll take photos regardless of the subject as the three lenses are designed for every scenario. It consists of a 12MP F1.8 wide-angle camera with Dual Pixel PDAF + OIS for autofocus with bright results, a 12MP F2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera for group photos and Super Steady Video, and a 64MP F2.0 telephoto camera with PDAF + OIS focus and 3x zoom to capture everything up close.

Take epic portraits right out of 8K video

8K Video is the highest resolution in a smartphone, making your footage look even better than the cinema. And with 8K 24fps, every vlog and memory is your next shot at stardom. Record, upload and watch right on YouTube.

Then use 8K Video Snap to get an album of high-quality 33MP pics right out of every 8K video. It's easy to record now, then snap later.

One take and that's a wrap

Record one take and Single Take turns it into feed-worthy photos and videos you can pick and choose from. It’s like a personal video editor, chopping up, slowing down and stabilizing to create content you can upload straight to Instagram.

Super Steady

Super Steady begs for action. Now that we’ve combined AI stabilization with 60fps capture, your adventures can get a bit more adventurous — since your phone shoots like an action cam.

Super Smooth 60fps Video lets you relive the moment without skipping a beat. Dynamic frame rate in FHD Auto Mode delivers a fast 60fps to capture smoother video during the day — then switches to 30fps for brighter video in low light.

The beauty is in the details

Shoot in 64-megapixel resolution so you can pinch in and capture with a clarity that makes photos look like a work of art.

Portrait

Instagram-ready instantly

AI analyzes faces and natural lighting, angles and directions — making sure your subject is the focus and always stunning.

Night Mode

No lighting crew? Hate that obnoxious flash? No problem. Now you can light up the night and capture it in vivid color, at night or in low light and without all the extras.

30X Space Zoom

Say farewell ‘too far away’

Enhanced camera quality allows for 30x digital zoom, making it look like those back row seats were actually close enough to touch the band. Zoom Lock stabilizes the shot when your hand gets shaky.

Selfies

Puts your best face forward

Selfie mode is enhanced by AI to bring out your features in realistic, true-to-life color.

The 10MP front-facing camera packs in tons of detail, while the fast autofocus makes sure you easily get your best shots.

Intelligent battery

With an intelligent management system that adapts to your usage habits and a 4000mAh battery, the Galaxy S21 delivers a seamless experience every day, all day long. It supports 25W wired ultra-fast charging, so its battery can charge from 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes. It also supports 15W fast wireless charging and also supports Wireless PowerShare reverse wireless charging at 4.5W. You can rest your headphones or Galaxy Watch on the back of the device for instant charging.

5 nm processor

The S21 series models incorporate Samsung's Exynos 2100 processor. This powerful 5nm 5G SoC offers up to 15% higher processing power, up to 33% higher graphics performance and 5.3x higher performance in AI features compared to its predecessor for detail-oriented shooting and multi-tasking.

Security

Share only what you want

The Knox security platform delivers a high level of security, protecting your phone from the chip up and giving you more confidence in your data and app permissions. It also features Samsung Knox Vault to keep your biometric authentication data under wraps. And with a larger, lower latency Ultrasonic Fingerprint sensor, you can unlock even faster — even if your finger's dry.

I have it and I still use it 5 years later.
    * It is very sleek and smaller than many others, which makes it easy to use even with one hand.
    * It has a very nice screen & the colors look vibrant and vivid.
    * It has very good camera resolution and even with today's standards, it produces material that is more than decent.
    * It has never had serious freezes and delays, I very rarely restart the device, mostly to keep its performance at good levels.
    * The sound is decent, I have never had any complaints.
    * On the negative side, I would mention the battery life, as it barely lasts a day anymore, but that is understandable after 5 years of heavy use.
In conclusion, I am very satisfied!!!

This review is about the memory: 8/256GB

Well of course I got it second hand, I'm not going to pay more than 250 for a phone. I got it for 180 euros with 2 cases and genuine glass in excellent condition. I've had it for 5 months, it's a great phone, my only complaints are the battery barely lasts a day with normal use, not games, and the fingerprint on the screen is very annoying. Also, the 8K doesn't work, it should have at least 30fps. Overall, a very nice phone and definitely not at the prices they ask for it

If you find it for under 500 euros, it's worth it and it has all the positives they advertise, so I won't analyze the positives, only the negatives:
    - It's not suitable for demanding games (e.g. Genshin Impact) because in Europe, the S21 has the Exynos 2100 processor instead of the Snapdragon 888 that the exact same phone has in America and Asia (I think). The Exynos starts strong and has the same performance as the Snapdragon for a few minutes, but quickly heats up and lowers the speed (and the FPS suffer as a result). For simpler games (Pokemon Go), it's comfortable, no problem.
    - The battery is not bad, just if you have it on all day, you will need a small charge to last 12 hours.

The device heats up with simple use, only the first year it was functioning properly. After a few updates, as always, its performance started to decline and it began to heat up.
The only thing worth mentioning is its size and screen.

As a primary function, it is a telephone, as soon as it closed, it started rebooting on its own and asking for codes to unlock.
If for 750 euros plus cases and very limited usage, you can't make calls, meaning you have to keep the phone charging all night because you have to work to pay for it, and it doesn't let you make simple calls...
    Battery disappointment.
I sent it for service and I will come back, but Samsung probably lost me as a customer.
The s9+ I had, after 2 specific upgrades, stopped sending messages. Otherwise, if I hadn't broken the screen, I would still have it. The s20 was a disappointment according to friends.

If you are looking for a small-sized device, commonly not holding a "brick" in your hand, the S21 is your choice! Its screen is excellent, the quality of photos and videos is very good, and the sound, having tried many devices, is on another level! The battery is not one of its strong points, but it will definitely not disappoint you. I also tried the S22 for a short period last summer and I generally consider the S21 superior, smoother in operation and without lags. The call quality is excellent and VoWifi and VoLTE work perfectly (I have Cosmote). The mobile is very fast, high-quality, and visually beautiful (personal opinion, of course). I highly recommend it!

Being the owner of 5 previous S series mobile phones, it is the first time that I will rate it below 4 stars. The Exynos SUCKS. It drains the battery. I have this phone fully loaded, but it doesn't explain such performance for a flagship. Having the S20 with Snapdragon from Taiwan has no comparison!!! When Snapdragon is used again in Europe, maybe I will go back to Samsung.

On the positive side, the camera is great, the screen is amazing, and the design is as expected from Samsung. But that's about it!

Good specs (screen, cameras, etc.), bad processor. The phone suffers from overheating and low battery life. Especially during the hot months, it is almost impossible to record videos without frame drops and juddering, or for apps not to lag due to the processor being overwhelmed by overheat protection, while any friend's iPhone works perfectly and smoothly. The battery hardly lasts a day. I wish I had trusted my instinct and not bought a Samsung with Exynos.

I had the s10 and I was very satisfied.
Now I have the s21. I use it strictly for work. I have 5,500 photos, 1,500 videos, and some games that I like.
The phone doesn't lag at all, it has a good battery, and the camera takes pictures from another planet. Don't charge your phones with any chargers. It is the Alpha and the Omega.
After spending 700€ - 900€ to buy a good mobile phone, either Samsung or iPhone, spend 40€ to buy the charger with the right specifications and the right milliampere.
I have had the s10 for 4 years and it still works like new.

Very powerful phone with everything it has...!
Coming from iOS, I can say that it doesn't lack in camera quality, as some say.
The only negative thing I find is the battery life, which I expected to be better, but overall, I am very satisfied!

I won't say much, I bought it 2 months ago and it hasn't frozen even once. It's very fast and as for its battery, it easily lasts a day, although it does need to be charged every night. At its current price, it's definitely worth it and more.

Coming from Samsung S7, the transition to S21 is huge as it is evident. After 1 month of use:
The positives: Excellent screen resolution, very good camera, surprisingly satisfactory battery (even though it's only 4000 mAh) lasts 1.5 days with heavy usage.
The negatives: The speaker could be a bit louder, the fingerprint sensor could respond faster during unlocking, quite a high price.
Overall, it is one of the top phones one can find in the market at the moment, but not the top in its category.

I come from S7 with which I have been using for 4.5 whole years without any problems. Even today, the phone performs very well in everything you ask of it, except for the battery. Now let's talk about the s21. Okay, it has a better camera. In everything else, I don't see any significant differences compared to the s7. One thing that bothers me is the plastic back (I don't like cases), it gives a cheap device feeling...
For everything else, I don't need to mention, it is a very good, fast phone. But for the 750€ I paid, I expected something more... (let's say a charger and headphones, it's unacceptable that they are not included at this price.)

I have really changed countless flagship phones, and this one is by far the most complete I have ever held in my hands. Flawless screen, flawless speakers, flawless camera in all conditions, the battery lasts for 6+ hours of active screen time after a few days, and it is very small and convenient in size. I believe that no smartphone should cost more than 500€, so if the price is not a problem, buy it without hesitation. The best compact Android flagship so far as of 11/08/21.

I have had the device for a year now and I can have a more specific opinion.. I had written again at 3 months of ownership but now I definitely have a complete picture.. well the cameras are great for the money.. I like the build quality. the screen is very good. and the speakers are stereo and high quality. the battery lasts a day with normal to heavy use. everything is nice then... UNACCEPTABLE that the phone crashes... the phone really freezes many times.. I need to restart it to unfreeze.. now it has an issue with YouTube.. it freezes or the image freezes. generally, with every update something breaks.. unacceptable for a flagship...

This review is about the colour: Pink
