One reason I had said in the past that I would never use Samsung again. The phone is a flagship but it's a disaster. I've had it for a year and I only have negative things to say.. Nevertheless, I'll start with the few positives and the rest along the way.

Positives:
1. Good camera, good photo when it's daytime.
2. Good video, good resolution.
3. Good selfie camera with good resolution and nice portrait.

Negatives:
1. Battery. It can barely last half a day.
2. Constant software updates and it gets worse after each update.
3. Night shots are a disaster.
4. It no longer charges in fast charging or even in quick charging. It constantly says charging via cable. (Note that I have a Samsung charger and a 25w cable)
5. Freezing quite often and stays like that for at least 45 minutes and then restarts on its own and gets stuck. (Also note that the phone was purchased from a large physical store chain. Not online)
6. For the 1500 euros I paid, it's not worth even 600. Really the biggest loss I've ever had in a purchase. Now I can't even sell it for 500.
7. The charging port no longer works properly and suddenly, in one day, from charging from 20% - 100% in 45 minutes, now it takes 1 hour and 55 minutes. If possible.
8. It heats up excessively to the point where you can't hold it in your hands. Such a flagship should have taken care not to have such things happen. Completely disappointed with this phone. It's a shame the money I spent and a shame so many people who bought it for better and got worse.

At least tragic there at Samsung. Owner of Huawei p30 pro, p40 pro, mate 20 pro and I was perfectly satisfied with these giants. S21 Ultra? Just a disaster. I have now switched to ios specifically the iphone 13 pro max and I really feel at ease. By far the best phone of all Samsungs. If I ever go back to android, I'll go back to Huawei and asus rog phone. Otherwise, guys, the solution is ios. Very good, very high quality and software gem. That's all from me.

Owner of the phone for about a year and completely satisfied with the camera, speed, screen, speaker, waterproofing...a very good phone with plenty of features that will definitely keep you interested for a long time...the big problem is the battery which is unacceptable for the price...I see some reviews about the temperature...you can choose the processing speed in automatic and I never had a problem with the temperature...if you put it on maximum then yes it will increase the temperature but it warns you beforehand...generally without a case it's a gem in your hand but you don't risk it with a Spigen case, you have peace of mind...I consider it a better choice for a phone than the latest iPhones. Also, a parenthesis that may be useful to someone, if it falls into water don't panic with the sound it will play because recently it fell into water with chlorine, I washed it with water and after a while the sound was crackling with a video on YouTube for cleaning the speaker 4-5 plays will clean it

Owner of the s21ultra (256gb) since 21/7/21. The phone is really good, runs everything smoothly without any lag, and at 120hz, it feels very smooth. The screen resolution is also very good, one of the best if not the best on a smartphone. As for the camera, it is also one of the best out there, with great resolution, especially when shooting with the 108mpixels, and the 3× and 10× optical zooms do a great job, with decent results up to 50×, beyond which it starts losing quality, especially at 100×. I would say that the 100× zoom is more for effects than functionality. The selfie camera is also great, with very nice details when shooting at 40mpixels, and the ability to shoot at 10mpixels as well. In terms of video, it also does a good job, but there is certainly room for improvement. Moving on to the battery, it has improved a lot, and Samsung has done a good job in this area with the s21ultra. It can easily last a day, as long as you don't leave it lying around. The size of the phone is quite large, but you get used to it. In summary, it is a very good phone, and anyone who decides to buy it will not be disappointed with its performance. As for the price, neither this nor any other phone is worth €1000 or more.

Coming from the Note 10 (the smaller one), I was a bit worried about the size of the phone, as my old one was quite compact.

After about 2 months with the S21 Ultra, I can say that I am fully satisfied and the upgrade is quite noticeable, although the Note 10 remains a very powerful model even 2 years later.

Nevertheless, top camera, top processor, top screen, as you have seen in the reviews, I won't go into details, but if you plan to spend 1000+ euros on a device, you will surely be fully informed about the specs.

However, I will say that the phone is indeed lightning fast in everything, the photos you will take will be excellent without much effort (although with a little effort, you can really do wonders!). So far, I haven't had any issues with the device freezing or any app crashing. The 120hz screen is amazing. If you get used to it, 60hz on other devices will feel like they are "stuck". Also, I am very satisfied with the battery consumption. With everything open and a lot of use during the day, I need 50% from 7.00am to 12.00pm on a typical workday. The screen is constantly on WQHD+ and Adaptive Refresh Rate, and 5G is enabled. If you lower these settings, you will have even better performance.

Overall, in terms of functions, performance, and features, it is if not the best, then definitely in the top 3 devices currently available. Especially for Android users, I believe it is currently the clear leader.

As for the negatives, firstly, the size, which is subjective of course, as I come from a smaller device, but it's not something you can't get used to. The main problem is not so much the diameter of the screen as the thickness, as it is quite thick, which brings us to the second issue, which is its weight. At almost 230 grams, there are cases where it can tire your hand after a while, especially if you use it with one hand. The third issue is that it produces quite a bit of heat. Of course, this is logical with such a beast of a processor. It's not something special, but it is definitely noticeable. The most basic problem I had, however, was with the surface in the camera area. The gray glass is quite susceptible to scratches and definitely needs a good case and maybe even protection with a glass for that part.

Hello everyone! I am a new owner of the s21 ultra, coming from the Samsung Note 9. I just bought the case with the S pen for 70 euros. To my surprise, I found out that you can't take photos like you can on the Note series. I read on some forums that a new pen will be released that supports photos, which of course we will have to pay for separately.

I find it unthinkable to pay 70 euros for a case and S pen and not have photo support. There should be a software update soon to fix this problem, because it is a problem.

When you spend 1300 euros on a phone and it doesn't come with headphones or a charger (sold separately) and the S pen doesn't work properly, saying that a new series will support photos (even though you've already bought an S pen), then sorry but it's a complete joke in our faces. After years, I am not satisfied with the provision of services and accessories. As for the phone itself, it is the best on the market. If the above issues are fixed, which are highly logical, then we will be talking about a complete device.

After two weeks in my possession, it's time to write my impressions..

On the positive side:
1) Of course, the screen!
You can't take your eyes off it, especially in high resolution and 120hz, it's a feast for the eyes. Personally, the best screen I've seen on a Galaxy device.
2) Speakers.
I was amazed by the device's speakers!
Great sound quality even at high volume. I really didn't expect it.
3) Battery.
Finally, the autonomy that suits a flagship becomes a reality.
From the first day on WQHD+ and 120hz with normal use, it easily lasts me 1 and a half days.
4) Camera.
Although I'm not the most suitable person to judge a camera since I don't take many photos.. I consider the camera to be excellent, especially the zoom.
5) Premium design and materials that really make it a jewel that you're afraid to hold with bare hands.

On the negative side:
1) Size-weight.
The device's big negative unfortunately, impossible to hold with one hand as with a case it takes extra volume and weight.
2) Lack of external memory.
3) Price. I got it on sale for 1069 euros (256 GB) but I still think the price is high. I think 950 euros would be the ideal price.
4) Fingerprint.
Significantly improved compared to the S20, but still needs work.

Conclusion..
A very powerful but also expensive device that will last you at least three years.
If you can handle the device's weight and volume, then I think you're on the right track!

Ερχόμενος από Note10+ (και σύγκριση) θα κάνω μια σύντομη review, να ξέρετε τι να περιμένετε..
Στις φωτογραφίες βλέπετε 3x, 10x, 30x (όλες handheld), και πως έχω το EQ για τον καλύτερο και δυνατότερο ήχο και στα δύο, με το Dolby Atmos στο αυτόματο.

Θετικά:
-Οθόνη: Το QHD+ & 120hz είναι τόσο "γλυκό" όσο ακούγεται, μόλις το συνηθίσεις όλα τα υπόλοιπα κινητά σου φαίνεται λες και κολλάνε.
-Ηχεία: φοβερά! Δυνατά, καθαρά, και έχουν μπάσο (όσο γίνεται να έχει ένα κινητό), σε σύγκριση με το N10+ που δεν είχε καθόλου.. Το N10+ έχει λίγο πιο δυνατά πρίμα στο πάνω ηχείο, αλλά ως σύνολο ήχου (πχ σε μουσική) το Ultra δεν παίζεται και είναι πολύ πιο "πλήρες" σε όλες τις συχνότητες.
-Κάμερα: κλάσεις ανώτερη απ' το N10+ (το οποίο είχε πολύ καλή already), το ζουμ είναι πολύ καλό, βλέπεις πράγματα που με το μάτι δε μπορείς.. Ακόμα και σε χαμηλό φως ή νύχτα είναι πολύ καλύτερο το Ultra, και η εστίαση είναι μια χαρά, δεν έχει τα θέματα του N20U ή του S20U!
-Δύναμη: ό,τι και να θες να κάνεις -είτε νορμάλ χρήση είτε gaming- δεν παίρνει χαμπάρι! Ούτε πτώση καρέ θα δεις ποτέ, ούτε τίποτα.
-Το fingerprint scanner είναι πλέον άψογο, γρηγορότερο, και ακριβές.

Αρνητικά:
-Είναι άβολα βαρύ.. Ως χρήστης Note10+ συνήθισα το βάρος του απ' την πρώτη κιόλας μέρα, αλλά το κέντρο βάρους είναι ψηλά με αποτέλεσμα να σε κουράζει (όταν πχ χρησιμοποιείς chat/messaging εφαρμογή). Και φυσικά one-handed χρήση είναι κάτι που κάνεις με δυσκολία και φόβο μη σου πέσει.
-Επειδή έχει πολύ μεγάλη χωρητικότητα, και "μόνο" 25W φόρτιση, αν το δουλεύεις όταν φορτίζει θα αργήσει!
Προτείνω (αυτό που κάνω εγώ) να το αφήνετε στην ησυχία του μέχρι να φορτίσει 50-60%, για να φορτίσει σβέλτα, και μετά να το χειριστείτε.
-Το δακτυλικό αποτύπωμα αν βάλεις glass protector, χάνει τη σωστή λειτουργία του (στο N10+ δεν είχα τέτοιο θέμα), ξεκλειδώνει σε 3-5 προσπάθειες τουλάχιστον.. (Με τη δική του ζελατίνη, ή χωρίς δουλεύει τέλεια!) Η καλύτερη που έχω βρει μετά από τόσους μήνες είναι η Wozinski, έχει αντοχή γυαλιού, αλλά όντας λίγο πιο λεπτή, το αποτύπωμα δουλεύει τέλεια!
-Φορτιστής και ακουστικά απουσιάζουν απ' τη συσκευασία, και σε αυτά τα λεφτά είναι απλά ανεπίτρεπτο! Και όχι ρε φίλε, δε γίνεται για το περιβάλλον, μην κοροϊδευόμαστε, διότι ακόμα και σε λεπτό κουτί χωράνε με σωστή τοποθέτηση! Χώρια ότι με τη χρήση φθείρονται και κάποτε χαλάνε, οπότε πάντα χρειάζεται νέο σετ.
-Έλλειψη κάρτας SD. Ναι, είναι σημαντικό.. Διότι 1ον τη χωράει αν θέλουν, και 2ον διότι με μια κίνηση έβαζες τα πάντα στη νέα συσκευή (φωτογραφίες, βίντεο, αρχεία, κλπ).

Τελική σκέψη/απόφαση:
Αν είστε κάτοχοι Note10+ και δε σας νοιάζει τόσο το ζουμ (κυρίως), τα features της οθόνης, και η καλύτερη διάρκεια μπαταρίας, μην το αλλάξετε αν δεν έχει κάποιο πρόβλημα..

Ενημέρωση κριτικής 9/2021: Ύστερα από άλλον ένα μήνα χρήσης (άρα η συσκευή έχει μάθει ακόμα καλύτερα τη χρήση μου) η μπαταρία κρατάει ακόμα περισσότερο κάθε μέρα, δηλαδή τα πάει καλύτερα απ' το N10+. Μια φόρτιση το βράδυ με δική μου φουλ&σβέλτη χρήση. Άνετα 2 μέρες για άλλους, ίσως και παραπάνω.. Γυρίζω απ' τη δουλειά ακόμα και απόγευμα με τουλάχιστον 60-70%, με χρήση που το N10+ θα γύριζε με περιπου 40%!

Ενημέρωση κριτικής 3/2022: Τα πάει άψογα και δεν έχει τίποτα να ζηλέψει απ' το νέο S22 Ultra, μιας και έχει καλύτερο camera hardware (το S21 Ultra), όσοι ξέρουν ξέρουν.. Μετά από τόσο καιρό, η θήκη που βολεύτηκα περισσότερο είναι η Ringke Fusion matte, και η ζελατίνη που έχω αναφέρει πιο πάνω.

Having changed all my Galaxies from S7edge up to S21 now, I have to say that the S21 surprised me. Coming from the S20 plus, not Ultra (which doesn't make a huge difference, only different cameras and slightly larger battery), I can say that I noticed a difference! Firstly, it's the first time I've managed to go 2 days without charging with sensible use!!! (I don't remember achieving this with any of its predecessors, and this is especially valuable when you consider we're talking about max screen resolution AND 120hz).
As for the build quality, it's very high-quality, especially the matte finish on the back, which is stunning!
The screen needs no introduction, half of the competition's phones have Samsung screens. 10/10
As for the battery, we've already talked about it, but I'll add that it doesn't have the huge drain that even the S20 series had. The improved Exynos probably helps too. 10/10
The processor is a big improvement over the previous version that the S20 had. I don't play games at all to give an opinion, but I would definitely prefer the Snapdragon version. 9/10
The fingerprint sensor is very fast and accurate! You forget that it's under the screen and it reminds you of a conventional one in terms of speed and accuracy. 10/10
The camera: this is the best part. The camera's macro is UNBELIEVABLE. It even makes the inexperienced user a photographer! Many modes, many functions, fantastic single take, and excellent night shooting. Not that it plays a serious role, but the 100X zoom can now actually take a good photo up to the moon! A small drawback would be the video as I often notice a loss of focus and have to manually focus it. 10/10 though!
In summary, it would be unfair not to mention Samsung's unacceptable policy, which copies Apple, meaning I buy a box that only has the phone inside, without even a charger. You don't protect the environment like this, as no matter what, I will buy a charger that has also been produced in one of Samsung's factories. A foul move, with their pockets in mind...
I also find it unacceptable to pay 1000+ euros and not have the ability to use an SD card that has been present in all galaxies for many years, as well as headphones.
Also, on the downside, the phone is heavy and bulky, depending on how much it bothers each person, I personally got used to it.
