The Quaderni del PLIDA are part of a publishing series developed jointly by Alma Edizioni and the Società Dante Alighieri, aimed at the teaching period of the Italian language, the training of teachers, and generally the promotion of the Italian language and culture worldwide. The publishing series is called ALMAPLIDA and combines the innovative style and scientific rigor of Alma Edizioni's publications with the prestige and validity of the Italian Language Program Dante Alighieri (PLIDA), which is the most widespread and significant certification of proficiency in the Italian language.

The Quaderni del PLIDA are available in 6 volumes, one for each level of PLIDA certification (A1 - A2 - B1 - B2 - C1 - C2), serving as a simple, practical, and reliable tool for anyone looking to take a PLIDA exam or simply practice their Italian. Each volume analyzes what one must “know” and what one must “be able to do” to pass the exams at each of the four skills (listening, reading, writing, and speaking).
