The art drill bit provides excellent durability for drilling precise holes. Its toothed design creates less friction and heat for increased resistance. The short centering tip of the precision drilling head has two main cutting edges and one peripheral (toothed) cutting edge for perfectly accurate results. With large areas that do not contain chips for optimized chip removal, the speed and precision of the drill bit's drilling are further supported. 

It allows for smooth blind hole drilling without splinters as well as lateral and oblique drilling, e.g. for hinge installation, wood connections, and rose hole removal. Use it for drilling soft and hard wood, veneers, and non-plasticized particle boards. It is intended for use with all drills (drill drivers, drill stands) with a 10 mm chuck.

The 3-sided shank of the art drill bit prevents rotation in the chuck. It is manufactured according to DIN 7483G and the cutting hardness is at least 50 HRC.
