    All Ugreen products are very well-made and of excellent quality and construction, and they work flawlessly without any problems (see reviews on Amazon where they are very popular). Especially in hard drive enclosures and PCI-e cards, they are unbeatable. This particular product (Ugreen USB 3.1 Gen 2 Hard Drive Enclosure) works perfectly. I have installed a Samsung 1TB SSD inside, which I use as an external backup. The installation is very simple without the need for tools, and the disk fits tightly and securely.

    However, the entire enclosure is not made of aluminum as I expected from the description and photos. The majority of the surface surrounding the disk is made of plastic. I don't know if this plastic is thermally conductive to dissipate heat.

    In terms of transfer speeds, despite being advertised as USB 3.1 Gen 2, when I connect it to a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port on a latest-generation Lenovo ThinkCentre M70c (i5 10400 / 2.9 GHz, 16GB), I see the exact same speeds (~ 52MBps) as with a NATEC RHINO GO 2.5'' external enclosure, which is advertised as a simple USB 3.0, is 100% made of aluminum, and costs half the price.
