Other than that, when I turned it inside it showed very well and with minimal light. For its price, it is good except for this disadvantage that I mentioned first.

It only connects to 2.4 Wifi frequency and not to 5G. You will need to make a setting on the router to emit 2.4 in order to connect, and overall the connectivity is a bit problematic. Good image quality, with motion alerts, etc. With a little more money, you can get a much better one.

The app crashes a lot and the options it provides are not good.
I own 3 cameras that work with Mi Home (Xiaomi) and it's like day and night.
The imilab app lacks the ability to adjust:
1. Detection sensitivity, so it constantly alerts you for a small movement like a fly or a curtain moving due to wind, etc. (in Mi Home, you can adjust notification sensitivity).
2. The IR Mode (infrared for darkness) is only automatic, which means if you place it behind a glass, the glass will reflect the minimal light from the camera's LEDs and you'll see a red glare (in Mi Home, you can set it to On / Off / Auto).
I couldn't connect it to the app on Wi-Fi, and to make it work, I had to email the company and they sent me a file that I had to transfer to the camera via micro SD card for a manual update. It worked, but the process was disappointing.
To view the motion detection clip, you have to pay for a cloud subscription!
Alternatively, you can search for it on the SD card, but it takes time and effort...
So, it sends you an alert, and if you click on it, it shows you a photo and asks if you want to watch the video, pay for a subscription... No, thanks. With Xiaomi through Mi Home, it's free (only 8-second clips).
Of course, just like with Mi Home, notifications don't always come through, and they rarely come immediately unless you have the app open.
On the positive side, the image quality is very good, with or without light. The lens is worth it.
Due to the above, I would find it useful in a place where there should be no movement at all, like a warehouse or a garage without light, otherwise, it will constantly give you false alarms.

I installed it in a closed garage... and it still sends notifications for the light coming in from the crack!! I checked for updates, but nothing...

Κάτοχος 3 καμερών που δουλεύουν με Mi Home (xiaomi) και είναι η μέρα με τη νύχτα.
Θέλει το imilab app όπου δεν μπορείς να ρυθμίσεις :
1. Ευαισθησία ανίχνευσης οπότε σε ζαλίζει και για ένα κουνούπι ή ένα φως / κίνηση κουρτίνας από αέρα κτλ (στο Mi home μπορείς να ρυθμίσεις ευαισθησία ειδοποιήσεων)
2. Το IR Mode (υπέρυθρες για το σκοτάδι) είναι μόνο αυτόματο, που σημάινει ότι αν τη βάλεις πίσω από ένα τζάμι το τζάμι θα αντανακλά το ελάχιστο φως από τα λαμπάκια της και θα βλέπεις μία κόκκινη μουτζούρα (στο Mi home Μπορείς να το έχει On / Off / Auto)
Δεν γίνοταν να συνδεθεί με το app στο wifi και για να το καταφέρω έστειλα mail στην εταιρεία και μου στείλαν ένα αρχείο το οποίο έπρεπε να περάσω με micro sd στην κάμερα να κάνει manual update και τρέχα γύρευε. Δούλεψε αλλά ήταν απογοήτευση η διαδικασία.
Για να δεις το κλιπάκι από την ανίχνευση κίνησης πρέπει να πληρώσεις συνδρομή για cloud !!
Ενναλακτικά πας και το ψάχνεις από την SD card αλλά πάιρνει ώρα και κόπο.....
Δηλαδή σου πετάει alert και αν το πατήσεις σου δείχνει μια φώτο και σου λέει αν θες να δεις το video , pay subscription..... όχι φίλε, στη Xiaomi μέσω mi home είναι δωρεάν (το κλιπάκι των 8'' μόνο)
Φυσικά ισχύει ότι και με το mi home, οι ειδοποιήσεις δεν έρχονται πάντα, και δεν έρχονται σχεδόν ποτέ αμέσως εκτός κι αν έχεις το app ανοιχτό.
Στα θετικά είναι ότι η ποιότητα της εικόνας είναι πολύ καλή, με φως ή χωρίς. Ο φακός της αξίζει.
Λόγω των παραπάνω θα έβρισκα εφαρμογή σε ένα μέρος όπου δεν πρέπει να έχει καθόλου κίνηση π.χ. μια αποθήκη ή ένα γκαράζ χωρίς φως αλλιώς θα σε ζαλίζει με false alarm.

Την κατέβασα σε κλειστό γκαράζ.... ακόμα και εκεί στέλνει ειδοποιήσεις για το φως που μπαίνει από τη χαραμάδα !! Κοίταξα και για update αλλά τίποτα...
