Very good product. It's worth every euro of it, when at the same price you get the plastic ones with cement, which break after a while and the worst part is that when you exercise, you can hear the cement "playing" inside and distracting you. Nice packaging and very good construction quality. Immortal. The handles are large and ergonomic, making you feel safe with their stability. The bars have enough room to add extra weight if you want. I highly recommend it. It is the best one can find in terms of price and weight, and in proportion to them.
The weights are not accurate at all. Even the metal plates of the same weight have different weights. Anyone looking for precision should look for something else or go to a physical store with gym equipment. If you want to lift 9 ~ 10 kilos in one hand and about the same in the other hand, it's fine.
This is a value for money option. The clamps screw on quite well (*always* double-check them nonetheless) and the weight of the plates is satisfactorily accurate.
Cons:
a) As can be seen from other reviews, the product comes in minor variations, with the differences mainly concerning the shape of the handle. Some versions of the product may be better than others. In the product I received, the plastic handle sometimes moves left/right and needs to be repositioned, while at the same time it leaves a plastic smell on the palms. Also, the clamps I received do not have the plastic gasket you will see in other reviews.
b) The product has a characteristic industrial smell (probably coming from machine oil residues), as well as small surface "debris" and stains. Once you receive it, I suggest a thorough hand wash of all parts with a cloth dampened in mild, diluted soapy water, followed by thorough drying. I would not recommend washing it in a basin of water in the bathroom, to avoid trapping moisture under the plastic handle or in the threads.
c) Some of the plates have minor damage to the chrome coating. This is an observation you will find in other reviews as well. Personally, it doesn't bother me (yet), but it is certainly not something expected from a brand new, even budget, product.
Personally, given the low price, I am satisfied with this purchase. Any disadvantages are either minor or manageable.
Πρόκειται για μία value for money επιλογή.
They don't have any functional problem but the chrome coating was peeling off in places from the first day and there was something like mold/rust. The case does not hold the weights well, resulting in them moving around a lot when you carry them
they are excellent!!!!! and if after a while they seem too light, just load the weights from one dumbbell onto the other and it will reach about 17-19 kilos. buy without hesitation!!!!!
Accurate in their weight, aesthetically pleasing. The only problem that needs attention is that the gear that holds the weights "loosens" and you need to keep an eye on it to tighten them again.
Set of quality dumbbells made of chrome-plated steel with a total weight of 20 kg, designed for durability, firm grip, and long-term use. Includes a practical carrying case that allows for easy storage and transport, so you can train wherever you are — at home, in the gym, or outdoors. An ideal choice for strength training, circuit workouts, and daily exercise. Note that transportation is a bit difficult due to the weight.
I had called to ask about the color and to get the one I liked because I heard there were different versions and I was disappointed, I didn't like some black weights I saw (it's better to call before ordering to ask what they have). They told me it's fixed anyway, and indeed I received nickel weights with a black handle. Somewhere I saw a nickel handle which also looked great. The handle is kind of rubbery, I don't know how it will hold up quality-wise, time will tell, it seems hard and durable. The dumbbells are an honest purchase, the best you can get for 50 euros I would say, you won't find better. The nut also has a rubber inside so it tightens more, kind of like a safety feature. It might loosen a bit if you don't tighten it much but it's no big deal, you just tighten it again, it's not dangerous, you can catch it in time. Overall, they're great, I recommend them, I'm really happy actually, very nice. I don't know how it will go for others. In the 10 kilos (each) the weight of the bar with the clamps is included of course, which I think is 1.5 kilos per set.
The fact that you can combine weights is very convenient. There is also the extension to make it a bar, but for me, it's not that pleasant. I prefer a regular bar with the diameter that accepts the weights I have. Therefore, I recommend them without reservation

COLOR / STYLE:
Reading the comments, I was prepared. There are various handle styles (black, red-black, etc.). If someone wants a specific color and is bothered by the others, they might need to talk to the store for confirmation. Otherwise, it's a kinder surprise :)
-
PRODUCT RATING:
The set seems quality and well-designed. It's very fair for its money and easy to use.
If you want to make a heavier dumbbell (instead of two with equal weights), you can load it up to 16kg (from the discs included). That is (2x2.5 + 2x1.25) on each side, and there's just enough space left to tighten the safety. Generally, check the safeties after each exercise, because (although they have rubber and tighten well) they may slowly unscrew. Don't let an accident happen and the discs fall off.
-
The case is convenient for keeping everything in one place and not taking up space. The shape of the handle is suitable for simple transport, but I wouldn't trust it for continuous moves. Especially the side (plastic) clasps, make a simple click and you don't know when they'll break and everything will fall out.. 20kg is a significant weight, so it requires caution.

DELIVERY:
The packaging was good. Skroutz wrote express delivery (Tuesday) but they finally brought it on Thursday. Both days of delay, I received automatic messages with very specific hours/day that were not adhered to. So don't rely 100% on the delivery time. I wasn't in a hurry, but someone who would take, for example, leave from work to receive it, would be disappointed twice.

DELIVERY:
Their packaging is made of thin, low-quality plastic so it arrived in pieces. The weights had some scratches and marks, but they seemed to hold up well. It was definitely not worth the 50 euros I paid for it at Hellas Gadgets
Guys, for someone who is a beginner and wants to start having some home equipment (which you can upgrade over time), it is really good. (I received this one with the black handle)
My set does not include the intermediate piece to convert the 2 handles into a bar, and I will have to purchase the bar separately. I deducted two stars for this. Otherwise, they seem okay.
After 2 months of use, I can say that these dumbbells are very good. Just like in the photo, they came in silver. Very good quality construction that will withstand the test of time. They can also be connected with an additional bar to create a larger bar if you want to use them together for more exercises. They were worth every penny, 100% compared to those fake ones sold in the market. These ones can endure and have the right grip!
For amateur use, they are fine for their price. They came to me in cast iron (gray) and not chrome, but it's not something that interests me. I found them convenient.
It's fine, it came exactly like the photos. It also has an intermediate piece to convert the 2 handles into a bar as you can see in the photo. Satisfied for 65 euros including shipping.
It is brass, not nickel. The handle is 10cm wide. The diameter of the hole in the discs is 3cm and in the dumbbell is 2.5cm, for those who want to make combinations with other sets.
As it appears in the photo, the product is not what it seems in the image. Specifically, mine are made of cast iron and their locks are slightly different, while the bar is made of iron and not plastic as it appears in the picture. Also, the box only said "cast iron dumbbell set" and not "chrome dumbbell set". Generally, what I have understood is that whoever orders this product receives something different, but personally, I don't particularly care about the material of construction as they are of good quality and at an affordable price, and they also came in a carrying case. I think the same would apply to the others. They are two simple dumbbells at a relatively low price for beginners who want to get into weightlifting, etc. I recommend them to anyone interested, just know that they may not be exactly the same as in the picture.
Good set and at a cheap price for someone who wants just that. The one star was deducted because in their case, everything is loose and if you try to transport them, you will have an issue, but I don't think it's that important, especially considering their price
