The Bose L1 Pro16 powered PA system combines an array of 16 articulated mid/high-frequency drivers with a built-in 10 × 18-inch subwoofer featuring a neodymium racetrack transducer. The built-in Class D amplifier delivers 250 W to the array and 1,000 W to the subwoofer. It features a 3-channel mixer, Bluetooth for wireless AAC audio playback, and control via the L1 Mix app over Bluetooth LE.

Channels 1 and 2 have XLR or 1/4” TRS inputs for a microphone, instrument, or line signal, along with volume, treble, bass, and reverb controls, a mute button, phantom power, and ToneMatch presets. Channel 3 includes 1/8” TRS stereo inputs with a summed output and a 1/4” TRS line input, with volume, treble, and bass controls and a mute button. Dispersion is 180° horizontal and 0/-30° vertical in a J-array configuration, while maximum SPL reaches 118 dB continuous and 124 dB peak. It is compatible with the Bose ToneMatch T4S and T8S mixers.
