I bought both black and blue ones. I didn't get any defective ones. They were all fine (so far). I didn't notice them shedding like others say in the comments.

They cover the mouth and nose just fine, but they are narrow, so after a few hours, they start hurting your ears. Maybe it's because of the thin and round cord, which after a few hours starts irritating the skin behind the ear. I had bought before and they were (as everyone writes) gray the photo masks 3 and 4. I bought again during the week and I can say that the new batch is much better, photos 1 and 2. They are black on the outside now and white on the inside. The straps are softer and don't tire out in a few hours like the old ones

Poor quality, very thin. It does not filter the air at all and you can tell because you can see through it. They tear very easily, simply because they are thin, and the "3 layers" are not even glued together, they just scratch on top of you.

It's great and I like its color, which is black, and you wear it much better than the navy one.
