I use it as an access point with a network controller installed on the ceiling.
It can also be used without a network controller, as a stand-alone.
It was very easy to install and configure, provided that you have some basic knowledge of computers and networks.
WARNING! PoE adapter is not included, you need to purchase one separately and WARNING again, if you want to take advantage of the 1GBit Wi-Fi speed, choose the right PoE adapter that supports 1GBit. Unfortunately, I learned it the hard way, as I wondered why the Wi-Fi speed never exceeded 100Mbps.
Its range is very good ... in an open space.
When walls are added to the equation, it drops dramatically, as naturally with any kind of signal.

Purchased almost a month ago, installed in a 440sqm house, so as you can imagine there were doubts about its range. However, within the house, it has full signal in 3/4 of the area and only has 2 bars in some remote areas, but the speed remains unchanged. In outdoor areas where we are talking about distances over 50 meters, the connection and speed are perfectly stable with 2 lines. I haven't changed any settings, I just set up a controller on my PC to control it as it has been combined with Ubiquity cameras. Everything is fine, and the reason I'm writing this review is that I'm about to order two more devices for two other similar-sized homes.

The best access point one can buy right now, if they want truly stable and fast WiFi. It won't throttle the connection and you'll see perfectly stable WiFi. I came from a TP-Link VR900, and I can say that the connection stability on this AP is night and day.

Especially if your connection is fast enough, I believe it's worth investing in a good Access Point compared to your router's built-in one.

Clear instructions for mounting in any setup, and very easy setup either through the Ubiquti app, or through the UniFi console running on your computer. (If the AP doesn't appear in the console, watch out for possible firewall issues on your computer)

P.S.: If you buy it directly from the company's European store, it may be cheaper for you, and with VAT exemption if an invoice is issued.
