As HDR content and sources are not yet widespread, SMART HDR converts SDR-owned content into HDR-quality images, allowing all viewers to enjoy their favourite content with the best possible picture quality. In addition, it dynamically enhances native HDR content and adapts it to the capabilities of the display. Using artificial intelligence and scene recognition in HDR, SMART HDR enhances any scene, whether dark (by filling in the light level to bring out less visible objects) or bright (by increasing the contrast ratio to differentiate objects from their background).
