The Kenko Teleplus Pro 300 DGX teleconverter doubles the focal length of the lens and is designed for use with prime telephoto lenses from 100 mm and telephoto zoom lenses. Its optical design uses multilayer-coated Hoya glass elements and is wide enough to prevent vignetting. The built-in electronics preserve signal integrity between the camera and lens.

Autofocus works with lenses with a maximum aperture of F2.8 or wider, provided there is sufficient light and subject contrast. Manual focusing is required with lenses with a smaller maximum aperture. EXIF data accurately records the equivalent aperture and focal length of the lens and teleconverter combination.
