The ancient Greeks, by personifying all natural phenomena and objects, created various myths about gods and demons, demigods and heroes, monsters and fairies, witches and muses.
At other times, they dressed the significant events of life and major historical events with imaginative narratives, thus trying to give them some interpretation. In this way, myths were created about the Argonaut expedition, the exploits of Hercules and Theseus, the Trojan War, the wanderings of Odysseus, etc.
